4 Star Hotels in Malang City

Our room, facing the pool and the mall, was spacious, clean, and plain, without decorations. The room looked efficient and institutional, rather like a schoolroom. In fact, the echoing shouts of children playing in. and passing through, the halls throughout the morning, day and evening, made it feel as if our bedroom was one of many rooms in an elementary school. Probably more families than usual are on staycations during weekends. The breakfast from 6-10 am was good with many choices in the buffet and a lot of staff providing support. All of the staff are friendly and eager to be of service. The hotel is in a very convenient location. We took a taxi to the hotel, and we didn't know if the driver would be charged Rp. 10,000 for parking after he left us, so we felt compelled to pay the driver for parking, just in case. We discovered later that usually they don't charge for parking if the car is in the complex for less than 10 minutes. The reception staff told us that, if the driver parks his car (somewhere) and comes to the reception desk with us, he can get a document that will exempt the car from the parking charge, but it was always less of a thrash just to pay the parking charge. Considering the price, we feel the Aria Gajayana provides an average value on weekends.

A banquet banquet a recommended reunion with a special view and delicious food and friendly service not far from the city but away from the city's noise because it's on the 9th floor and can see the enchanting sunset.

This guesthouse is actually one of our favourite. Location is good; near Kawi Atas. Vicinity was homey. Room was okay. Bathroom was kind of slippery; careful. Wi-Fi was decent. Amenities were basic. In-room entertainment also basic. AC need maintenance last time we stay. The bad thing about this guesthouse is the smoking policy. It's a shame that the only area that are non smoking is the bedroom. Other area are kind of free to smoke. So I wouldn't recommend it for any pregnant women, children, and any people who are allergic to smoke like me to use common area for activities or just sitting around drinking a cup of coffee. Since there were no elevator, it would be pain in the a** to go to the third floor. So, make sure to get a lower level one if you have problems with stairs. Parking lot was okay; barely sufficient during mid-week or off season, but will be a real problem during weekend or peak season. Breakfast was okay and changed daily. Just a friendly reminder, breakfast are also free-to-smoke area. Staff won't do anything to restrict any smokers.

The hotel is old but still te maintained. The room is spacious, the bathroom is large. Next is an event for high season. The location is very strategic

One of the best hotel in hospitlity industry.. It was nice 2 days stayed here..at 101 Hotel Malang Oj. Since 2018 ,101 is the first hotel on my list. I visited Malang because my daughter studied at Brawijaya University.location near the center of the town,nice clean room and comfort with the view of mount Arjuna.I love it. Thanks to the staff who worked here,Erwin,Wulan Nafisa,Amanda ,Rully ,and Ravin etc,for apl the attention and services,and the surprise for me and my family. I believed this hotel will be doing great and successin the future.

Wisma Srikandi is one of the hotels in Malang which is equipped with various supporting facilities for comfort, such as; Non-smoking rooms, Wifi, TV, 24-hour reception, bottled mineral water, toiletries, and a parking area. In a strategic location, close to Malang Town Square (1. 3 km), Mall Olympic Garden (3 km), Malang City Square (3. 9 km), Karang Besuki Temple (2 km), Singha Merjosari Park (2 , 2 km), Waroeng Jobo Oemah (350 m), and Omah Kayu Coffee Shop (1. 2 km), you can access Wisma Srikandi with various public transportation options such as buses, taxis, and online transportation.

Fourth day of our honeymoon organized by Turisanda, we stop in Malang, where we find our hotel waiting for us. Tired from the journey, after hours on the train and bus, we hope to finally take a shower and lie down in bed, but unfortunately, the room assigned to us will reserve an unpleasant surprise for us. Bathroom with tub and curtain dirty with hair and stained and dirty sheets. I decide to go to reception and explain the problem, and without hesitation they decide to change my room with a similar one. After being accompanied to the new room by the reception staff, I noticed with displeasure in front of them that the new room presents the same problems. They then changed the sheets several times until they finally found clean, stain-free ones and the towels. As per Indonesian custom, the staff were very kind and friendly in listening to our requests, and apologized several times, and I was also offered the suite. The hotel appears new and the reception is very spacious and large, it has a swimming pool and friendly staff, but it has an obvious problem with the laundry, and certainly, the cleanliness standards do not reflect those of a 4 star in any other location in the world. I don't feel like recommending it for stays longer than 1/2 night in malang.

It was a good hotel (villa) you could also eat in the restaurant and that was very good because you could the best Pasta Bolongese food It is a good hotel for the kids because you have a swimming pool with a glideway and now they are renovating another pool so if you think about me a year or 1/2 there it comes out is

This hotel can't be considered a 4-star one, perhaps more like a 3-star. The rooms are small, with the worst part being the leak in the bathroom, causing water splashes during showers and creating puddles everywhere. It's uncomfortable, and they only provide one wet mat. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, I was given a general room (as per the receptionist), and there's still a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The promised ozone generator was never provided, even upon check-out. The breakfast area is extremely cramped, making it uncomfortable. This experience is significantly different from Alana in Bali and Jogja.
