Location of hotel is in Little India a short distance to Jonker Walk and the river. A convenient location with on site parking.

Front office staff not enough a lot of trainee n Supervisor not around I have to wait long time to check in,and breakfast are bad food are limited Porridge are cold , noddle also cold

Finally there is a improvement on the cleaninese I don see any foreign insect in the room and is clean

Nice hotel. We always want to stay here. The wall painting in front of the hotel is marvellous. Breakfast is good. If u need indoor slippers, need to call & request from house keeping. 😀

I was given a non smoking room but when I entered, the whole room smelled of smoke. I asked for a change of room. They gave me another one. But this time, the room was alright but the bathroom smelled of smoke heavily. I was too tired to request for another change and decided to stick with it. After 2 rounds of shower, the smell dissipated. However, when I return at night to shower, this time the bathroom floor was complete clogged and water was overflowing during shower. Earlier on, it was alright. The next morning, the shower was fine again. I don’t think I want to stay here again.

The hotel is at little india street. The location of the hotel is very strategic as it is just a few walking distance to Jonker Street. The hotel is good with all the amenities too but the gym room is too small. The pool is nice. The breakfast is okay. I was very lucky to witness the Thaipusam parade.

Just stay for 1 night. Quite comfy.

On 4/1 I complaint about cockroach at my door way I did inform the front desk but they seem like not interested. Today 17/1 I complaint again the cockroaches is at my bed headboard. The front desk said will inform the housekeeping manager.

Checking took a long time, location is far away from town, swimming pool was great, but room rate was reasonable.

The ibis Melaka is in Little India near all the major attractions of Melaka. Very clean, nice staff, and easy to get around. Highly recommend for a couple of nights.

Ibis is a good hotel with friendly customer service. Ample of parking provided, but toiletries is provided upon request.

The hotel stay overall was a pretty experience. Located in the heart of little India, a block away from Chinatown, and a couple blocks away from the main Pier area. It’s pretty easy to get around from this hotel has everything is quite walkable. The hotel had staff that were pretty helpful overall. I stayed two nights during Christmas when the hotel was full of patrons, and not a single room was available. The rooms are the typical Ibis kind of rooms but one thing that is good about the Malacca in ibis is that is kept up pretty well. There wasn’t anything that was worn down in the room other than my nonworking TV, which didn’t bother me. Oh, another somewhat of a hiccup that I ran into was the restaurant. According to the menu, the restaurant closes at 10 PM and the sign downstairs indicate 10:30 PM. My wife and I would really hungry and at 9:36 PM, I went downstairs to order an Ibis burger and an apple juice. The waiters at the front desk initially rejected my order, indicating that they’ve already closed the kitchen, but there was no indication of any “last order” time anywhere on their menu, or at their restaurant. Of course, since I was as a bear, I was not up for a kitchen closing early for whatever reason. So, I threaten to contact management indicating that the restaurant doesn’t have a last order time. In response, the waiters contacted the kitchen asking if they are willing to take my order and lo and behold, their chef was going to make the burger and drink. Not sure if this is a Malaysian thing or not, but I thought that was kind of scummy. I didn’t end up contacting management with what happened, but perhaps anybody who is going to order room service at around 930pm might want to use the same tactic as I did.
