I feel the hotel overall was excellent. Great base to explore Jogja and Borobudur. Some highlights: 1) Excursions: we booked a Jogja day trip and Borobudur excursion through the hotel. A bit expensive but for our first time in Indonesia we felt worth the price. In fact, we think the hotel should do a better job advertising or featuring these services. The tours all include VIP tickets and guides, which is especially great at Prambanan and Borobudur temple. Just one thing to be aware is that traffic in Jogja can be bad so leave extra time for that. The driver was super nice and experienced, he made us feel right at home with cold towels and bottled water at every stop. 2) Hotel amenities: we were a huge fan of the new lagoon pool, and the spa. I also think the restaurant was a highlight. On our first morning, we were able to order ala carte breakfast since there was not so many guests. Quality of the food overall was very nice, with mix of Indonesian and western selections. 3) Rooms: I loved the unique design. I do not think I stayed anywhere like this before. Climbing the stairs can take some getting used to but is part of the experience. Try to leave at least 1-2 days to relax on the resort property. Next time I will want to stay for a bit longer. You can get it for less than 1,600 yuan. The location is very good. The hotel itself has two restaurants. The wine is average and the dishes are okay. The rooms are very clean and very Javanese, and each room has a balcony!

Stayed here with my family. Had an amazing experience started from the time of booking, the reservation team was very attentive and helpful. Prior to my arrival they did a courtesy to make sure everything is well prepared when I arrive at the hotel. Location is very easy to find and not far from city center although it doesn’t feel like you are in a city at all. Once you enter the resort you feel like in a very calming vibes and a sanctuary place. I arrived and greeted by Ekky and Ervita. Ervita escorted me to the room and showed all the feature in details and even let us enjoy in room afternoon tea during sunset which was incredible nice. Ekky was very helpful while assisting our luggage and took us around for a hotel tour. During the stay, I have requested some items to be delivered and they were promptly provided in a timely manner. I ordered dinner from ghetto restaurant and they were served nicely in the room and the taste of the food was good. I would like to mention some names as their providing memorable service during my stay ad well. Thank you for Lana, Viyo, Zhani, Rachel, Victor and Humam for making our stay memorable. Although I would like to comment about the breakfast. Restaurant ambiance is very nice but unfortunately the overall food was below my expectations. The food options were adequate but the tastes and quality somewhat did not harmonize with the great resort and services. I’m assuming finding the right supplier is also a key for this. but, indeed i enjoyed the breakfast. One last thing is about the Guest Motorcycle parking. We rent motorbike and we had to park in the staff parking so it was a bit of confusion for us as a guest and employee seeing us strolling around in your back area. Overall, I would love to come back if I visit Jogja again in near future. What I enjoy the most is the great service from the staff and that’s all what matters after all. Great product and service! I have stayed in many hotels in many countries, I can say, in my opinion it is not an exaggeration if I say that Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta staff is the friendliest among other hotels I have visited. You should try to stay in this hotel, you will understand what I mean. Unfortunately, the breakfast at this hotel is below what I expected, western food has not many choices and the taste is mediocre, there are many kinds of Indonesian food, I think this hotel is trying to highlight Indonesian flavors, but I feel that only a handful of Indonesian dishes are delicious in my opinion, namely Bakmie Bangka, Batagor and Gorengan (mendoan and bakwan vegetables), the soto was a disappoin**ent. However, I still feel satisfied staying at this hotel, because it has friendly staff and comfortable beds

The most awesome resort in Magelang, best view and best service from the staff, feeling like your own home. The resort is located in the village only 3 km from borobudur temple. The road is extremely steep, as you can only park your vehicle at the parking lot, and using their car to bring you to the villa. We are staying at first at Villa Diponegoro with amazing architecture inside, huge villa, and amazing view. However, the pool's water is cloudy after some treatment, so they upgraded us to Merbabu Villa with 3 rooms. And this villa even more amazing. The view is extraordinary, we can see the Borobudur temple very clear and the sunrise as well. The pool is very deep, so be careful with your children. The regulation is not strict, so you don't need to pay for extra pax. The food is tasty with low price. And the most calming and happiest are the really helpful staffs. They provide us with 2 private staffs that can help all of our needs, even to buy traditional food downtown. Maybe I have to say that this resort is much much better than Plataran and Aman Djiwo with comparable price or even slightly lower price. My suggestion is to choose Vila Merbabu or Villa Kayangan for best view. Villa Menoreh also offer a good view. But for guests who like indoor more, you chan choose Diponegoro Villa as it has the most amazing craftmenship for the architecture and also larger indoor area. Surely will come back again to this Villa with my whole family.

I visited Mtilan on a vacation. And I chose the front one inn hotel to stay because of its strategic location if you want to go to jojja, mahjong or Borobudur. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious. Although there's no restaurant, but if there's a lot of selling around the hotel at night, I'm not confused about the comedy.

If you are to visit the Borobudur site, this is one of the best places to stay as it's literally 100m away from the main gate (Regular visit). If you are planning on the Sunrise or Sunset tour, they provide free transportation to the gate (This gate is located around 1.5Kms away from the guest house). Staff was simply amazing. I have to especially mention Himatul who was really helpful in providing vital information related to the site/tour in general. Additionally, she has accompanied us during the visit which kept our minds at ease. As per the room, it had, 1 King size bed, 1 single bed which was more than enough for us. The room had air conditioning and an attached bathroom. They have provided a decent free breakfast with a satisfactory portion of Nasi Goreng with Guava juice(I loved it!) + they have free wifi. + rooms are air conditioned. + they have attached bathrooms + there's a common area to have your food - They don't have their own restaurant, but there are many places to buy local food including street food. + There's a supermarket/mart nearby. + Staff was super friendly and helpful. + Very close to the Borobudur site (100m to the main gate). + Free transportation for Sunset/Sunrise tours.

We stayed on 14 - 16 february and booked our room with Agoda and the room was a good size, the hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities, so we applaud their environment. The front desk staff were very nice. Especially Heru, who arranged our trips and acted our tour driver . He took us trip to Borobudur , mount Merapi and Prambanan because on as we were not familiar with Yogyakarta. he also helped us to contact and book hotel at bromo , very patient and enthusiastic, emphasized all the details. It was a great pleasure to meet Heru.
