Hotels near Mainz Hauptbahnhof, Mainz

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the AC hotel in Mainz. Although it is across the street from the train station, the sound of multiple trains and trams is not heard in hotel rooms. But the convenience of being close to a transportation center cannot be understated. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, the front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the on-site restaurant (Adam and Eden) has windows overlooking the area. Since we were visiting family members in Mainz, we only ate breakfast there, but it included an amazing buffet. In fact, we invited our family to join us for a delicious breakfast all 3 days of our stay. Last but not least, out wait staffer, Osiris (sp?) was a real pleasure, anticipating our needs before we asked. His professionalism and sence of humor helped make our journey special. Das Hotel ist neu, Eröffnung war November 2023. Allerdings hat man sich beim Bau nicht viel Mühe gegeben bzw. reichlich gespart. Das Zimmer ist hellhörig, ein Nachbar duschte sich noch um 0:30 Uhr, ich dachte, es wäre bei mir. Die Wischböden haben keine oder schlechte Trittschalldämmung, man hört jeden Schritt vom Nachbarzimmer. Im Zimmerdesign hat sich ein Architekt ausgetobt, der ganz sicher nie selbst darin wohnen muss: Die Dusche und das Waschbecken sind direkt neben dem Bett! Somit verteilen sich schön die Duschdämpfe und Haare beim Fönen im Zimmer, geschweige von einer ”Privatsphäre”. Das WC ist zum Glück in einem kleinen Raum, aber so winzig, dass man kaum an der Tür vorbei kommt. Es gibt keine Sitzgelegenheit mit Rückenlehne, in der man sich nach einem anstrengenden Tag bequem hinsetzen könnte, nur ein unförmiges Ledersitzkissen. Als ich dies bemängelte, sagte man mir, das wäre so gewollt. Das Konzept will etwas, was der Gast nicht möchte, interessant. Auch sucht man vergeblich einen Schrank oder ein Regal für die Kleidung, es gibt nur eine offene Kleiderstange mit Kleiderbügeln und eine Kofferablage, man lebt also aus dem Koffer. Der Seifenspender am Waschbecken war total verstaubt, der in der Dusche defekt. Ansonsten war das Zimmer hell, 2 riesige Fenster bis zum Boden. Das Doppelbett war bequem. Die Beleuchtung lässt sich schön mit Touchpad vom Bett aus regeln. WLAN funktioniert hervorragend. Das Frühstück war bei meinem Preis von ca. 75 € (1 Person) inklusive. Daher darf man selbstverständlich auch kein Bio-Gourmetfrühstück erwarten. Entsprechend ist daher die Qualität: billige Wurst, Käse, Fertigjoghurt in großen Schüsseln, süßer billiger O-Saft, Fertigbouletten usw. Die Auswahl an sich ist allerdings angemessen reichlich, wie Rührei, Würstchen, Müsli, verschiedene Brötchen, 2 Kaffeautomaten usw. Allerdings werden die Tische nicht regelmäßig abgewischt, man räumt sein Geschirr selber weg. Daher muss man nach einem sauberen Tisch suchen. Der Raum ist riesig und ungemütlich, allerdings ringsum voll verglast, wodurch man zumindest einen schönen Ausblick hatte. Abends gibt es in diesem großen Aufenthaltsbereich auch Essen wie Pizza, Burger, Pasta, Wraps und Salate, wie ich der Karte entnahm. Das Personal war durchgängig wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz ist mit 20 € überteuert und war bereits voll. Ich habe dann nach ca. 5 Minuten Suche einen Parkplatz nur ein paar 100 m entfernt in einer Seitenstraße gefunden, der mit Parkuhr 1 €/Std kostet, wobei nur bis 19 Uhr und ab 9 Uhr bezahlt werden muss. Oder 100 m weiter sogar mit Glück gratis (ich hatte Glück). Insgesamt ein günstiges Hotel mit etlichen Schwächen, die ohne viel Mehrkosten vermeidbar gewesen wären. Zumindest können das andere Budgethotels besser.

Located on the Rhine River, the morning is very quiet and the scenery is beautiful. The hotel is very quiet, the room feels and the area is spacious. The breakfast at the hotel is very good, but it is recommended to market in the nearby town centre.

Excellent stuff and good breakfast the room is clean and comfortable just I half one comment regarding the TV channels there is no English Channel I hope if the hotel management they manage to add English channels nearby that is a Turkish supermarket and also another big supermarket 2 restaurants very close to the hotel approximately 10 m away Italian and German restaurant Bus station is approximately 200 m away to the city center and main train station

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend. Our family room was ok: surprisingly spacious, quite comfortable beds. But it smells muffy (also wasn't getting out with airports). Despite closed window, you can hear the traffic noise from the Landstraße and the motorway that pass directly by the hotel. The bathroom was in a limited condition: extremely renewable, flat washing basin, flat shower, toilet, which would have to be replaced and very unpleasant smell. Also breakfast was extremely easy, the tables in the breakfast room were smooth and with EUR 13 per person the breakfast is definitely overpaid. We were now 2x in this hotel, but this time was definitely the last time!

We were looking for a accommodation for a night as a concert took place in the slaughterhouse. The location is almost directly opposite - very practical. Before check-in at the hotel you get the possibility to pass a online check-in. For the opening of the rooms and the hotel outside the reception times, the guest receives a number code. The parking is free and without prior registration. Very practical. TIP: The access to the parking house is over the Murnau road behind the house. Unfortunately the notice at the main entrance has grown. :D The check-in itself is running smoothly. You already notice a certain nonchalance, but it is quite sympathetic. In the entrance area there are snack and drink machines and computer workplaces. The rooms are bright, all uniform and compact. Windows can be opened, the climate long works well. The beds are just large enough with 80*200CM and have a pleasant hardness. TV and WiFi were there. Last with changing quality. Very ordinary was the cleanliness. Breakfast is really cheap with EUR 10.50 p.p. Selection and quality are in order. Coffee is available from the full machine, juice from the donor. Besides the usual suspects, there are also brood and sweet bakery available. B&B fulfils exactly what you connect with the brand. The accommodation is cheap and practical.

We stayed for a long weekend at the end of November 2021. The hotel is brand new and it shows. Everything was clean and spotless. The hotel is located close to a highway, so super convenient if you are travelling by car. Can't comment on the access to downtown by transport, but the hotel has a huge board at the entrance explaining how to get to downtown Wiesbaden by public transport. We used hotels parking, which was OK priced, but in the aftermath saw that there were plenty of parking spaces nearby so you may want to check before booking parking. The queen room that we stayed in was absolutely fine. Comfy bed and not noisy aircon. Clean bathroom with a shower. Breakfast was ok too. Nothing special, but you don't expect extravaganza in HI express. I have knocked off 1 star for service, as the check-in guy didn't mention my status and also did not give us an option of extra points or a drink in the bar. I just received my bonus points the next day. Otherwise, we had a pretty nice no thrills stay. Would definitely stay again.

The middle of the ”New Center” is this hotel. As we were there, the water damage was not yet remedied. The side entrance with the chairs did it also. The rooms are large enough, clean and in the bathroom there are glasses of glass, no plastic. Donors in the bathroom for the soap are also a good sign, no micropacks. Beds ok, TV large and Wi-Fi went also very well. The river beautiful, a little dark light? Railway station near, as well shops. The city is well what I could see so. There are the commercial revenues. The reception is in the fourth floor. I assume it will come back down when the water damage is fixed. Great breakfast with everything drum and there. Respect. Similarly, for the two women at the reception who answered my question of another room sovereignly. Otherwise, her colleague who found my question unfair.
