The hotel is in a very good location, facing the Rhine River. Although the facilities are not very new, they are very clean and sanitary. The breakfast is very rich. The train station and ferry station are within walking distance, and it is convenient to Bingen Shopping Center and Ruesheim. When the temperature is high, a fan is used to cool down the room, so it is not hot at night; the photo was taken near the hotel.

Arg in die Jahre gekommen und recht einfache Zimmerausstattung.
Das Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt und die Rezeption war mit einer Problembearbeitung überfordert.

the bedding is mediocre, if you want to have back pain when you wake up, then you are at the right address. The sauna's advertising is false because access is chargeable. The positive thing is the warm welcome from the staff and the good food at breakfast. the train passes all day and all night: the walls are shaking

Large hotel right on the river. The rooms were quite odd. Like it used to be a 1970's or 1980's decoration and it hasn't been updated. It was nice to open the windows and let the fresh air inside. Walkable location to town and along riverbank. The set dinner was not impressive (we didn't eat 1/2 of it), but we arrived late and the buffet had already been shut down. The heat from the sun and the brightness of the sun made it unbearable to stay long in the dining room and enjoy the view. The outside patio was full so we couldn't go there. The morning buffet had a very good selection and the views overlooking the river were nice. Friendly staff. No water station to refill water bottles.

The ONLY complaint we have is that our room was NOT air-conditioned and it was 84 degrees when we attempted to go to sleep at 9:30 pm. Not a good night even with the balcony door open as the night eventually cooled off.

I only spent two days and one night as stop-over to break the drive from London to Austria. It was ideal for this, a nice hotel right by the river Rhine, with short walks into Bingen old town, along the river, and up the hill behind Bingen, with a bier garten 5 mins aong the riverside. A 20 min walk away is the ferry over to Rudesheim. A very nice hotel in a great location, probably deserved a longer visit so will return!

Nice hotel on a very nice location with a very god breakfast but no airco so the rooms were very hot, close to the city centre with some interesting restaurants and close to the famous Loreley hill and on the other side of the river more interesting places to visit
