This hotel is the longest time I have lived on this trip, and I feel the best. The room is very large and comfortable, the location is very convenient, very close to the exhibition; the breakfast is very Mercedes-Benz, the variety belongs to the middle and upper in Western food, the price is very high! I stayed here for four days for a business trip. The front desk staff were very helpful with questions about dining, parking and other services of the hotel. There are two parking garages that the hotel uses, one that has metal doors on either side, so if you have a large vehicle, you may want to use the other entrance around the corner which had a little more space on the sides. The room rate included breakfast as well as overnight parking.. The room (#636) faces the plaza next to the entrance of the parking garage. The rooms across the hall face the river. The room has two beds with a desk that hold the TV which can swivel to either the beds or the desk area. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower with a glass partition. The space works for one person. There was two bottles of water that were left in the room each day. The hotel is centrally located with lots of café and restaurants on the same side as well as short walk to shops/restaurants across the river. I can see why many of the people from our company stay here.

Our room on the 4th floor was facing the train station but very quiet in the night. The room was clean. The bed was big and comfortable. There were 3 windows. Like the round table with 2 chairs, we really could sit for a drink. Breakfast was great. Receptions were friendly and helpful. We pre-booked the underground parking so convenience when we arrived. Lots of restaurants around the hotel and from the hotel to City Hall. The only think that I don’t like was the bath tub was small and narrow so when I showered the shower curtain touched my arm all the time.

The hotel is a two-minute walk from the long-distance railway station. The bus terminal is also on the side of the railway station and the traffic is very convenient. The hotel room is not big, but neat and clean, and there is a clean room every day. The hotel provides free coffee, tea and hot water throughout the day. Breakfast is simple and hot and cold food is available. The hotel is self-check in, but the staff will help. The disadvantage is that there is no restaurant in the hotel to provide catering services. The hotel is quiet and it is recommended to stay for two to three days.

Yes, the hotel is in the old town, wherever it is convenient, it is an old monastery remodeled. There is a Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel. The key is that Maastricht is very beautiful, there are not many people visiting in winter, and even less Chinese tour groups. Because of the junction of the three cities of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, it is very international. Shopping is great, Belgians are running over to buy things. I booked a deluxe one-bedroom room. The room is big and touching The poor size of European hotels everyone knows In fact, the concept of the hotel is similar to that of a shared apartment. The hotel is very nice, very stylish and modern with beautiful decoration. It is interesting to see how the architects created a hotel in the beautiful building. The stay however was not nice. Booked a (very pricey) junior suite, especially for the second night the sleep quality was very poor. First, the room was street side, and did not have real curtains but only roller blinds that let light through on both sides. There was a street light just in front of our window so it was not dark at all. Second, there was a lot of noice both from traffic in the street as well as in the corridor, all night long. The rooms are not well insulated. Third, it was very hot in the room (contrary to the corridor) and the old airco system made a horrible lot of noise. The only answer of the reception staff was that they would write a note in the system so that I would get a more quiet room next time. As if there would be a next time after spending 1.000 EUR on such an experience! The room was nicely designed though, but was not worth the money. Breakfast was nice, served in the restaurant in the church. The choice at the buffet was okay, you can order freshly made eggs as well as some extras such as pancakes that are charged extra. However, also here not a very pleasant experience with staff being busy without doing anything and continuously moving around tables and chairs during the whole breakfast. All in all, a bad experience, not to be repeated. I can not recommend this hotel as price/quality ratio is just not right.

If you choose for an arrangement , so including breakfast and the so-called three-fold dinner, you should not expect the best of them . First, we got a room on the first floor, just above the entrance .. The hotel's worst room, while there were rooms available. The so-called three-way menu is not very good and very little. Moreover, the cook didn't want to make the orange bavary and we just got deep freezers from the supermarket with a layer of chocolate sauce... terrible! The privilege was also invaluable and consisted of a so-called champignon soup with six sprays of tauge and two champignons... I felt very insulted that this was offered to me... that she dare to serve that is scandalous... We were allowed to sit only at a certain place in the restaurant because we had a arrangement and were treated as a little as t****erang guests.. This is very bad! The servants are not guest-friendly and friendly , I recommend them to take a course with their colleagues at the van der Valk Hotel. Moreover, breakfast was good, just standard as everywhere, but as soon as you order something extra, you will find cheating. I had paid a 3-day arrangement of €335 and will not do this anymore.
