Mulgrave Cottage does not disappoint! Nestled away in a gorgeous & serene valley, this is the perfect place during all seasons. The hosts are attentive, professional and were fabulous with our 4 year old! The house and grounds are beautiful….so much so, we have booked to return twice this year. The Oak Room is perfect for families - spacious, clean and has everything you need. We highly recommend staying here and are looking forward to returning in the summer.

A wonderful setting at the beginging of the Mulgrave forest. Breakfast was first class with plenty of choices. We went for the full English breakfast and it really set us up for the day. The room was fully equiped and the bed big enough for a good night's sleep. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay absolutely perfect.

Lovely country cottage, good sized room with private access, excellent breakfast, hosts very welcoming. Perfect location for walking to Whitby 3miles, (public transport also available), or a little longer Runswick Bay 4.5miles both on the Cleveland way.

My wife and I visited to celebrate our birthdays which are on following days The accommodation exceeded our expectations ,this is a hidden gem a period property furnished appropriately ,we were greeted by Jasmine who was friendly and professional .the breakfast had a good selection and was very enjoyable .we shall return when in the area . Amazing place to stay. So many thoughtful little extras. Breakfast was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome. Hidden away in the woods but only a short walk into town and to the beach. Ideal for walking the coast paths.

Lovely hotel tucked away nice and quiet. Nice and clean and the facilities were good. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Staff faultless.
