Offshore - the Inn Collection Group

Just had a one night stay at this hotel for £55 bed and breakfast and it was well worth the money. Helpful and friendly staff, lovely room and amenities (only issue was the tv that we had to re-tune 3 times as it kept saying no signal). We ate in the bar in the evening, having fish and chips which were delicious as well as bring well presented Breakfast in the morning was lovely with plenty of choice. We were also lucky and secured a parking space on the car park. This is a budget style hotel but for a one night stay it ticked all our boxes. Thank you.

I stayed 2 days at Offshore from 14-16 April. The establishment has changed beyond all recognition from The Lindum which was dated and tired looking. (Please note that this is a Pub with rooms) and not a Hotel which suited me fine as I am not a "Bingo" person. The staff at Offshore were so friendly and enthusiastic when I checked in and throughout my stay. I was allocated a gorgeous sea view room. All the furnishings and decor being brand new. Even though the staff were all new they did seem help to each other and bonded well as a team. No hierarchy here. I would love to see the same staff there when I return.

Visited for an early Thursday evening meal. Many of the tables at the front of the bar by the window are really too small for dining so we sat around the back (where the music was too loud.) Ordered Pie of the Week, (steak & ale), & mash and a prawn curry for my wife (which was ok), plus a portion of chips. The mash was dubious looking, was tepid, had a strange texture & very little flavour. My £18 pie had 3 lumps of meat and not much gravy, although I was given some thin flavourless ‘gravy’ separately. ‘Seasonal veg’ was a small amount of spring cabbage under the pie. The pie looked the part but much of the pastry inside was raw. The chips still hadn’t arrived half way through the meal so, upon staff being reminded, they came straight away, so they were obviously already made. On the strength of this visit, we won’t be returning.

worst hotel i have ever stayed in staff were not frendly could not get room service when we ask member of staff walked in our room while we were in bed find us for smokeing in the room we dont smoke charged us 25 pound for being harf hour late booking out when we told them we were both sick after our breakfurst the day before had to moun about haveing breakfurst they did not wantto give it us in all the worst stay i have ever had

Upon arriving no greeting just told to self check in. After putting all our info into computer, took a key card tapped into the reader which brought up our room number, so no human contact whatsoever. No instruction as to where room was from the staff just left us to it. . Felt it was unwelcoming. I think the hotel chain need to train its bar staff on customer service. The bedroom was not a disappointment all newly refurbished and beautifully decorated. Bed looked inviting and was so comfortable. The bathroom was new and fresh. No problems there it was lovely and the sea view was a welcome addition. The continental breakfast section was buffet style and a good choice. You had to order at bar for cooked breakfast so thought that would be cooked fresh. Unfortunately when it arrived you could see it had been cooked and kept warm. Only the egg had been cooked fresh so that was a big let down. Breakfast staff more friendly than the staff we encountered on arrival. My findings lovely refurbished hotel but some staff need to be more approachable to guests.

Stayed whilst on business over the opening weekend so everything was shiny and new. Offshore is a big site but once you get your bearings is pretty easy to find your way around. It’s like other Inn Collection Group properties, with check in at the bar (though this one is more standalone than some) and the pub style hospitality being your food and drink option. Food was tasty, especially the Fish and Chip stuff which has the taste you get from a chippy rather than a pub, so most welcome. Breakfast service area is huge, so plenty of space when getting your items, but the number of covers compared to the number of rooms is a bit tight for when it is full. (There were only a few other guests over my stay so no issues) All in all nice new venue to enjoy on the Fylde Coast.

Great place to stay! Fab location for St Anne’s. Clean, modern and very dog friendly. Kids loved it! Food was lovely, only negative is room was boiling! But understand why heating was still on as chilly still outside. Will definitely be back.

This "Inn" as I was corrected to state by the manageress is very clean with a great position offering sea views if you upgrade. We did upgrade but the room was very very small. Food was excellent but not everyone was happy because a nearby table were given two of their meals and then the other meals followed more than 30 minutes later. The same table were advised by a member of staff in a loud voice " Your card has been declined" How very embarrassing for that individual. When talking to the manageress the following morning I did mention to her a few little ******* but she was uninterested and advised us that this is a pub with rooms NOT a hotel!! Was rather surprised at that comment because the prices are very high for a pub! £6.40 for a pint and £8 for a medium glass of wine! 90 rooms and only 12 parking spaces.

Stayed for 1 night as we had a family birthday. We love Lytham and St Anne’s and stay regularly, this place was very reasonably priced and newly refurbished. Excellent location, great bedrooms with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was included in the price, we will certainly stay again. The bar area and outdoor seating was also great, a huge selection of drinks. Well done Offshore
