Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor - Convention Center Reviews

This is a very nice hotel located centrally in Luxor and only a very short distance from sites such as Luxor Temple. The room and facilities were lovely, and all the staff members were excellent and could not do enough for you. We love the pool area and the views to the Nile were stunning. Restaurants were good, we tried them all. Superb hotel

The environment is great, and the Nile view is absolutely beautiful! The room is clean and tidy! Waking up early to enjoy breakfast while watching the hot air balloons rise over the Valley of the Kings across the river is indeed a wonderful experience!

Amazing place, great view and very humble staff

The hotel is a bit run down and the rooms need updating. The plus side of this hotel is the staff do not keep harassing you for tips, unlike the locally owned hotels. The hotel breakfast spread was very good. The strawberry juice was delicious and fresh.We had dinner at the hotel on both nights and the food was good

The hotel is located right by the road, and it seems like a lot of Chinese guests stay here. There's a KFC to the left of the hotel that's cheap and tasty.

had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Nile Palace in Luxor. The hotel is elegant, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were professional, friendly, and always attentive. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent, right on the Nile with beautiful views. The facilities and overall service were excellent. It was a very pleasant and memorable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luxor.

Hotel is very old and rundown. Rooms need to be refurbished. Prices are too expensive. Breakfast could have been better. Food was good at the Italian restaurant. Luckily we stayed for only one night. Don’t think we could have stayed any longer.

We loved this hotel. The staff made it an awesome experience. Everyone that works here was accommodating and helpful. Restaurants had delicious meals and the servers were quite friendly. The room was quiet, with comfortable beds and pillows. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in several years of travel and we’d stay here again for sure. Can’t beat the price!

This hotel is so beautiful. I really don’t have anything negative to say. The food is wonderful 10 out of 10. Everyone here is so kind. I dropped my passport here, and I realize this once I got to the airport. The staff searched for it and gave it to my guide. I made my flight on time! I’m so thankful. 

Booked two rooms here. Breakfast was good. Rooms were renovated to have wooden floors so they were clean. Water pressure for the shower was really low though. Sheets also not crisp. But overall, higher than average.

The hotel was okay. The facilities were good and the staff are very helpful. The room is a little dated but still very nice and clean with an amazing pool. We were upgraded to a Nile view which was nice. The sunsets by the pool are also gorgeous. Great location as base for day trips in Luxor. The only annoying thing was being pestered by vendors to buy at their shops inside the hotel(some wouldn’t take “no, thank you” for an answer), I understand they need to keep business going but all I wanted to do was relax by the pool after a long day of touring and fighting off vendors all day. The food here is also awful (gave free school hostel food vibes), we tried dinner twice and room service in addition to daily breakfast . We paid about 3000EGP for 1 buffet dinner and it was definitely not worth it. Our least favourite food from our 2weeks around Egypt. You can pay less for delicious food elsewhere. The stay here was okay and staff were generally friendly and nice. No expectations of or demanding tips.
