The More Hotel Lund

Property was nice and staff friendly except at the restaurant. Restaurant staff were not accommodating to guest requests so I only went once with colleagues. I do not recommend the restaurant due to no desire to accommodate guest special requests and very limited menu. Wonderful fireplace in my room and enjoyed being able to use that daily.

Fantastic room, we had a studio which had a very large living room/kitchen and separate bedroom. It was perfect for our small family's needs. Really good breakfast each morning also. The laundry room is free once you reserve a slot which I've never seen in a hotel before, you just have to pay for the detergent. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from Lund city centre but the distance was worth it for the hotel amenities.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Front desk was helpful and friendly! Unlike other hotels that have the laundry icon and only provide dry-cleaning services, this hotel actually had a nice self-service laundry room. We walked to the astrological clock, and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that goes to the Lund C train station.

Room was like a sauna The room was like a sauna. Do not use this hotel in the summer months. My kids could not sleep for hours, and I had little sleep myself. When we arrived, the temperature was something like 30°C inside (20°C outside). Since the room was built like a greenhouse with huge windows, but only a tiny one that could open, we were not able to cool it down. The room had two cheap and noisy fans, which only served to push the hot air around. The building is poorly designed, and needs airconditioning to fix the problem.

It was a great property. Quiet. A little walk to city center but very nice and easy.
