I want to start by saying I’ve never had any problems with past stays at this hotel.
Arrival: Front desk lady was nice & helpful. 1st rm smelled like cigarette even though it’s no smoking hotel. Son has asthma so asked to be moved, she quickly moved us to another room. 2nd rm had not been swept, found cookie & shreds of paper & leaves on rm floor. Stayed w/o complaints due to being tired & lady at front desk had hands full w/ other guests.
Manager came by next morning w/ housekeeping & apologized for rm being in conditions it was in. She swept the room for us & was kind.
Day of checkout: Housekeeping knocks on door around 10:30AM to ask us when we were going to check out. Around 11AM somebody starts banging on door stating they are housekeeping again but I was in the bathroom unable to answer, so I just stated yes, we’d be out soon hoping they heard me. A few minutes later a young man comes by knocking & again asks when we’re checking out. I answer him & ask him if check out is not at 12PM like I was told. He states yes, that he apologizes & that he was just checking again when we’re leaving. About 11:20AM the front desk is calling to tell me that check out is before 12PM & our room was on her list of people who had not checked out yet. 11:47AM we walk out to be met by 2 housekeepers looking us up & down upset. Walk to front & hear 1 laugh only to see the other following closely behind me all the way to front desk. Front desk apologized & offered water & snack bag. 😒
