We stayed in Le Juliana Hotel in May 2023, we were welcomed by local staffs who were kind and attentionate. The hotel is peaceful and very relaxing. The room had all was needed with a nice bath and shower. The view of the room onto the garden was amazing. The breakfast was very tasty’ copious and colourful :-) . A special thank you to the manager Oscar, who very kind and made us feel home and helped us out with all our requests. We would highly recommend a stay at Le Palais Juliana. Chisa & Paolo

Quiet location outside of the main city, around 1.5 kilometres from the main town. The hotel doesn't show up on Google maps but it is where trip.com location shows. Staff don't speak much English apart from the nice lady who works in the morning she also makes breakfast, stayed 3 nights but had to book through hotel as with trip.com can only book 1 night. Would stay again. Thank you
RELAXFUL HOTEL

The environment is clean and the hotel facilities are very complete, including a laundry room, a gym, and a swimming pool. I have to say that the service of this hotel is really good. From the moment you check in, a waiter will bring you water. For tourists who want to go there to play, I think this hotel is a good choice. I personally think it is better than the Internet celebrity hotel. Many of the waiters in this hotel can speak Chinese, so there is no problem in communication. Free airport pick-up and drop-off: There is a free airport pick-up and drop-off service, which is still very nice. The hotel also has a pick-up and drop-off service, that is, you can call the hotel car to take you wherever you want to go out, and send a message to them directly after playing, and a car will come to pick you up. You can save a lot of money. The hotel is right by the Mekong River, and you can watch the sunset at the hotel, which is very comfortable and cozy.

Environment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list. Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip. Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles. Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.

Can I also give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for pool? This exceeded all expectations, and notably the staff were very friendly and always there to help. It was so good we added an extra day. It was the perfect way to switch off and watch Luang Prabang from above.
Ang Thong Hotel

Angthong hotel was pre-booked as part of an organised tour, it’s a good boutique style hotel consisting of 20 rooms. I’m unable to comment on the full amenities it offered and surrounding area as we were out on trips for majority of the day. However, the hotel served us well and met our expectations. Our afternoon arrival into Luang Prabang was a welcome relief, after a 17 hour flight from the UK. Our local guide Chan, greeted us and arranged for our mountain of luggage to be loaded onto the back of a rickety lorry which led the way to our hotel. We set off in the comfort of our mini bus in the sweltering heat as it chugged along dusty roads. We admired the scenery catching glimpses of locals going about their business. Palm trees, tropical flora and fauna lined the streets as we bobbed along pot holed roads, tired but excited and ready to embrace the adventures that lay ahead. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from the airport a convenient location for frequent travellers. Angthong’s main exterior is typical Lao-Thai style structure. Downside is the location away from the main town centre. The entrance has a set of steps leading to the main lobby, good outside space for vehicles, ambience is charming and relaxed giving a good first impression. Reception not massively huge, interior warm and inviting, neat display of tour information/leaflets and a few computer terminals for guest use. Front desk staff hospitable and ready to serve. An empty reception area very quickly became overwhelmed with a sea of boisterous bodies and luggage sprawled on top of each other. Staff had the arduous task of getting us checked-in, a slight delay, (no fault of the hotel) just that we had arrived ahead of time. Rooms allocated and it was nice to settle in and relax. Ours was a good size room on the ground floor and on the quieter side, nice tropical plants and flowers as you stepped out, the front side of the room had an adjourning balcony overlooking the pool and pleasant seating area. Limited cupboard space enough for one! Could be a problem for 2 people sharing, and if your stay is longer you may need to comprise for storage. Wasn’t an issue for us as we were living out a suitcase and our stay was brief. Beds were comfortable with fresh clean linen and we managed to get a good nights sleep, regardless of the noise from the crickets outside. In the centre of the room was a pillar odd layout, but I figured it was a slot for the tv, (not something that I’d come to watch, but it was there). The bathroom was slightly small but everything worked well, i.e. hairdryer, hot water, lights, rooms cleaned and toiletries replenished daily. The pool wasn’t huge could be a problem if there were many guests wanting to use it. Seating area comfortable with sun loungers. Nice landscape garden well kept and bar on the far end of the pool. Lovely tropical shrubs, trees, flowers great for photo opportunities, fake parrots perched on shrubs a
