Calfuco Wine Hotel & Spa

What an experience it was and what a hotel. Located in Villa La Angostura, it was ideally located for all that we wanted to do: hike, kayak, sail and explore this region of Patagonia. The hotel was exquisite. It was very intimate, had personalized service and the views were incredible. The room was so comfortable and the view was majestic. The reception staff were kind and helpful. The restaurant staff warm and even remembered our preferred breakfast orders each morning. The dinners were great and there was extensive wine options. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel experience. We weren’t disappointed for one minute!

Stunning setting looking into an amazing lake and mountains. Very well appointed rooms and a great chef which is more than accommodative. Having stayed at several properties in the area over the years, this is by far our preferred one.

This is an amazing boutique hotel. The hotel is very nice, warm atmosphere with unique views of the lake. Service is 10 points, since the receptionist, restaurant staff, cleaning service. I was here in Villa before, and I would choose again this hotel for its unique features.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 separate nights on our trip around the 7 lakes, the first night we had the hotel to ourselves! The food in particular was excellent with wines to match. All the staff were helpful and friendly, including the hotel cat Chicho! The hotel is in a great setting overlooking the lake, which you can walk down to through the beautiful woods, and the hotel is not far from Vila la Angostura. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Amazing property. Super clean and the staff made me feel at home. I can’t wait to go back next year. Highly recommend it.

Amazing hotel! Pricey but amazing!

EXPERIENCIA OLVIDABLE. HAGANSE UN FAVOR Y NO VENGAN! Pongo 1 estrella porque no puedo dar 0. Escribo esta opinión para ver si alguno de los miembros de la sociedad anónima dueña del hotel o la novia del dueño (que según nos comentaron lleva las riendas de la cocina) ofrezca algún tipo de respuesta válida o decente para todo lo que estamos atravesando aquí. Vaya por delante que estamos de luna de miel y que es el primer hotel de todo el recorrido que no ha tenido ningún gesto con nosotros por ello. Aclaro, antes que nada, que el personal (excepto 1 sola persona) ha sido extremadamente amable y atento con nosotros, sobre todo Fernando y Emiliano -muchas gracias-. El hotel es lo suficientemente caro para brindar un servicio de primer nivel, pero no. Es todo lo contrario. 1- De todos los desayunos que hemos tenido, hemos tenido que quejarnos para que la situación mejorará. Poca variedad, demora en la atención y en la reposición de productos en el desayuno. Poca fruta y poco fiambre. Y aunque han ido mejorando con los días es bastante decepcionante empezar el día así. Hoy he devuelto por 3 día consecutivo un pimentero vacío (tanto cuesta llenar un pimentero? Una persona de salón me contesta que ella no tiene nada que ver, pero vamos que falta de iniciativa y de profesionalidad es esa? Es poner pimienta en un pimentero!!!) 2- Las comidas incluidas del medio régimen son una vergüenza. La persona que dirige la cocina no tiene la mínima noción de gastronomía y lo digo porque soy cocinera (con conocimiento de causa). Ni sabores, ni texturas, ni temperaturas, nada. Que te traigan un gazpacho que sea agua diluida con tomate o un "ojo de bife" a medio punto que sea una suela de zapato es vergonzoso para un hotel de esta categoría. Una copa de "frutas" de banana, pomelo y poco más. Da igual que ofrezcan disculpas y traigan otra cosa, ya es cansador. Tuve que darle mi plato a mi esposo, que prefirió un ojo de bife seco a una pasta con salsa de brocoli que estaba incomible. (Pueden d**** una vuelta por Tinto Bistro y ver como con poco se puede hacer mucho! No hace falta que sea gastronomía de vanguardia. Sólo pido unos mínimos de sabor y cocción) 3- El WiFi funciona regular a mal o directamente NO FUNCIONA. Considerando que acá los teléfonos no tienen señal ni de llamada ni de Internet me parece que es fundamental. Y por ende inaceptable. Me queje con una chica de recepción que me dijo que a ella le funcionaba bárbaro! (Pedir disculpas ni de casualidad) 4- Nos quejamos de la incomodidad de la cama, que se hundía para los lados y la solución fue dar vuelta el colchón, dejando el pillow del somier debajo y literamente tuvimos que dormir sobre una roca. Hoy ante la queja y ya el desgano por la falta de servicio adecuado nos volvimos a quejar de esta ridiculez y tuvieron la amabilidad de ofrecernos un upgrade a una habitación mejor. PARA NUESTRA SORPRESA EL AIRE ACONDICIONADO DE LA HABITACIÓN NUEVA NO FUNCIONA! Y nunca nos avisaron. Por ende la temperatura

This little charming hotel was the best in our travel to Argentina. The hotel has 14 beautiful rooms facing the lake with a panoramic view. All rooms have wide curtains that when opened from bed in the morning, the view is breath taking. The restaurant is really top notch (but don't expect big portions, rhather gourmet portions). There are more than 1,000 types of wine and service is personal and high quality. You can. Take Kayaks and go to the peninsula (3 km), take mountain bycicle or go to the movies in the hotel. There is also a very good sauna and inner pool. The location is just magic and very very intimate. Highly recommended.
