I'll get the negative stuff out of the way first. When we entered the room we noticed that it was too warm, so we turned down the A/C a bit. It seemed to help, or maybe it was our imagination. When it was time for bed we wanted it cooler because we, like most folks, sleep better when it is cool We turned it down further and there was no improvement. I held my hand to the register and the air coming out was lukewarm, not cool. We called the front desk for maintenance. Nobody came. After a half hour or so, we called again. Somebody came. He brought a box fan that he put onto the floor. He also made an adjustment to the A/C and it seemed to start working again. In the middle of the night it got hot. The A/C had stopped working. The fan provided very little relief because it was on the floor. It should have been higher. We also found the linens and towels to be of lesser quality that that in similar hotels. As to the good part, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Downtown Los Angeles
In downtown Los Angeles, the room is large, well maintained, and has a great view from the rooftop! The location of the hotel is great. There are many bus lines around it, which is the best choice for traveling without driving. This time I saw that there were mostly European and American businessmen and tourists, and a room costs 25$\day. In a hotel, you can usually have a glass of beer with the wine, or order a Hanbao for dinner in the lobby! The consumption will be deducted when checking out, and the deposit will be refunded after checking out very promptly. Will come again!

It's a 10-minute walk to Santa Monica Beach. But there's a lot of homelessness on the road. I can't get around late at night. The hotel staff is very good. The man wearing glasses is a little cynical when checking in. The room I reserved was the smallest and the lighting was very dark. Keep that in mind.

The people at the hotel are very sweet and accommodating but they need to do better when cleaning hotel rooms…the sink smelled like sewer water. I thought it’s just one night but every time we turned it on it was a strong odor. I felt gross even washing my hands, let alone brushing my teeth. The drain should be cleaned at hotels. The vents were full of dirt. I had my baby and it just disappointed me more than anything..it felt dirty. It was too late to switch or do anything. Please do better for the health of others.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights on a baby moon before heading to Palm Springs. Really enjoyed this hotel. The bed was comfortable, we were in a nice Jr. suite with a sitting area, huge marble bathroom, and a great palm tree view. Breakfast was really good - espcially with our status which made it basically free and the location (definitely need a car - it's LA, afterall) felt safe and nice. Downside was that there were 2 events the night we arrived - seemingly schmancy - which made the hotel a bit busier that one might like. That said, no noise made it up to our room, thankfully. Overall, would definitely stay again.

Great experience! Clean hotel and nice location in a great area that’s near some good food spots. We were in town for Horror Nights at Universal Studios and this hotel was a great distance away — away from the hustle and bustle but still near shops and restaurants. Def would stay here again!
