Lancaster Court Hotel Reviews

PROS - location. CONS - booking included breakfast but on arrival I was given "complimentary snacks" - a sad little bag including 2 pieces of fruit, a muffin and a bottle of water. The hotel took a £100 payment as a deposit from my account as a "safety deposit" for the room that the receptionist said would be returned to my account within 3-5 business days. This was incredibly dodgy, I eventually got this money back after phoning the hotel (11 days later). Firstly it's hard to think what kind of damage I could have done to the room that would require £100 - secondly charging guests £100 during a cost-of-living crisis when the room itself was only £100 is pretty cheeky. I personally would avoid this hotel, I don't think they're doing particularly nice business.
