Room was nothing like shown in the photos, it was cold/damp carpet and floors. Staff were nice, breakfast was okay. However I wouldn’t stay again, the rooms really were a poor standard, not worth the money.

This was far below standard and certainly not value for money. The room was terrible, considering they could see I was disabled and struggled up stairs, I had a lousy, cold room with no heating and even the curtains didn't cover the windows so I had to try to sleep and see the outside at the same time. Not surprising, I didn't sleep a wink but went in the shower at 4am, but there was no "working" shower. That's all I hoped for but I got it wrong. There was no shampoo or accessories to wash with and the shower was a drip, really that was all. There was no hot or cold. You could not park anywhere nearby even though they had a driveway, they never offered to open the gates. Breakfast was white bread, with black coffee and a sachet of milk so everyone was limited. A cold basic breakfast and this for almost £90 for ONE NIGHT just shows how expensive London is. Never again would I pay to stay in a dump like this. I even asked for a wake up call which I never got although they would have to walk up the stairs and knock on the door as there's no phone in the room or anything like it.

The room was on the ground level down a flight of stairs. The whole Room was tired and in need of a redo we had two single beds which made the room very cramped there were no bedside tables, there was a tv but the Ariel wire went across the bathroom door and was a trip hazard we had to be careful not to trip over it coming out the toilet. We avoided the shower as there was a crack in the middle of the floor. And didn’t look safe. The bed appeared clean but the springs were felt and the mattress dipped into the middle and really not comfortable. the room was noisy from people moving around 02:30 am onwards so very little sleep was got. It didn’t feel or smell clean but there was a cup asking for a tip for the cleaner. needless to say we ignored this. The breakfast in the morning was nice bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms and beans , no sausages 2 pieces of toast selection of jams no other choice given. The location was good a bit of a walk from the bus and a gradient so be aware if mobility issues but if fit and healthy it’s fine. Would we stay again, probably not.

Cheap and not so cheerful , very outdated in all aspects , no kettle no tea/coffee making facilities, no hair dryer , no hot water in shower or hand basin. Quilt cover stain/spots , broken windows , mish mash of poor furniture, Small room and very dull , if you want very cheap you’re in the right place .

My husband stayed here with 2 friends to watch the red hot chilli peppers on Friday, after reading the terrible reviews I was a little worried. He was happy to stay there very basic and clean enough for one night. In a central location very cheap. Breakfast was ok. Overall good value for money

This is a budget hotel. It is not The Ritz. The hotel is situated within walking distance of Tufnell Park tube station, 02 Forum and Kentish Town hence our reason for booking it. It’s in a quiet residential area of beautiful old houses. The property is old and the decor quite tired but we found it to be warm with a comfortable clean bed and pillows, clean towels and clean bathroom. The heating was on all night and the tv worked in the room. It was basic but functional. Toiletries were provided. The welcome was warm and informative from a lovely lady who gave us the WiFi code and keys. Breakfast next morning was excellent, cooked to order and plentiful - toast, two eggs, one bacon, mushrooms and beans, orange juice and coffee which was all delicious and served with a smile. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. It was basic and had tired decor but we weren’t staying in our room all night; we were going to a gig and it was adequate for our needs. Breakfast was fab and the hosts were lovely. I’d stay here again.

the pillows are the fluffiest things ever, so comfy and very warm bed. they have free samples of charlotte tilbury makeup on the desk and they were all fantastic. they provide shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and perfume which all smells delicious. the food here is just extraordinary, quick at making and delicious. friendly staff and the hotel smells so nice.

The slight sense of dismay we felt walking into an entrance littered with mounds of laundry bags increased as we descended a hazardous, grubby stairwell (passing by an unattended pile of (clearly unused) cleaning products) and was then fully confirmed when we entered the room we had booked. As soon as we walked in, we were horrified and knew we couldn’t stay there. While we accepted this was a ‘budget’ booking, there surely exists a basic, acceptable standard of cleanliness and accommodation you can charge for and to say this fell short of that is an understatement. The décor was dismal and dated, the walls were marked, and there were only the most basic of facilities (forget about a kettle, bedside tables or even a headboard). While this could have been acceptable - the hotel was represented online as basic but functional - the reality was appalling. The room was tiny and claustrophobic with a sour odour, the carpet and skirting boards were grimy, dusty and dirty, there was a potentially hazardous wall socket with no face place, wires were hanging down from the back of the TV, there was mould and peeling paint in the bathroom and disgusting gunky black mould in the shower (see photos). The small window, which was open when we walked in, opened out into a littered ground floor parking area with disposed mattresses and other rubbish piled up. The room generally felt unsafe, and we would not have felt secure leaving any belongings there. I can’t comment on the working order of the bathroom or cleanliness of the bedding because we didn’t hang around long enough to find out. The irony of the Post It note which suggested the plastic cup on the table should be used for ‘Tips for the Cleaner’ did not go unnoticed. The only tip I would give them would be to actually clean.

Cheap, clean, a good breakfast and friendly staff. The building is dated, but when you pay what you pay, you really don’t care. Secure car parking, and included in the price. The bed was comfy too. Minimal facilities in the rooms but ideal for just getting your head down for the nights. There’s a lot of bad reviews for this place, but honestly, it was ideal for what we needed. I would say spend a bit of money on a refurb and increase room prices, but it’s great for people on a budget
