I was greeted as a returning customer but hadn’t been there for 17years
The staff were very friendly and helpful and polite
The service I received was excellent and the food was excellent that I received
The first room I stayed in was a little bit tired but as it’s a single bed room it was more than acceptable
The second night was a different room as I extended my stay and was a superior single and was more in price but I found it to be excellent
A great hotel with great staff and would recommend a stay if you’re passing through Lockerbie or need a hotel base in the area

What a find. We called into this fine establishment. Staff were exceptional. Taylor went out of her way to make us welcome. The carvery was second to none. Albeit no ale on, they did have ice braker. If you are in a 10 mile radius it is worth calling in. We will return.

What a wee gem of a place! Greeted by Ryan who got us all booked in, up to the room which was lovely and comfortable. We went down to the restaurant and had a great meal each and then through to the bar for some pints and drams. Great chat with the locals and Sam behind the bar. Will definitely be back!

From the minute I arrived everyone was so helpful and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is an old established place with some historical visitors in the past. The rooms are clean and very comfortable (I was in 2 different rooms on trips a week apart) The cosy lounge bar is a great place to sit and chew the fat, whether it be with locals, fellow travellers or the bar staff - Sam you have excellent taste in music! I thoroughly recommend eating there-the steak pie is to die for.

Absolutely fabulous, a very positive friendly welcome from Sarah on arrival. The bar and restaurant was immacsnd the food incredible. The manager Ryan was so warm and friendly and you could why all the staff were happy which is a credit to Ryan. Thank you

Checked in Monday 26th Feb Checked out Feb 29th lovely clean and warm room breakfast included the breakfast was properly cooked and very tasty plenty tea and coffee all staff very friendly Manager Ryan very helpful and curious no faults with the hotel whole place very clean definitely return to the Kings Arms

The hotel is undergoing renovations and short staffed, but the room was comfortable, host was very friendly and the food (limited menu and times) was home made and excellent. The town has a couple of interesting features.

Asst manager Sharon was working very hard doing multiple jobs but hotel is SERIOUSLY understaffed. She was very informative, chatty and helpful. Rooms were clean though dated - they are being updated so hopefully they'll be finished soon. Lack of proper car parking lets the hotel down. Fair play for supplying locally brewed craft beer - Lockerbie's Lowland Brewing was available at the bar.
