From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The decor is very elegant, the atmosphere is so relaxing. We booked a meal for 7.30 in the restaurant but were left waiting 20/30 minutes for our table, be mindful that this place is popular with locals to eat, so hotel guests can be left in the shadows, the 3 course meal I could not fault, compliments to the chef! The views from our room were fantastic, coming from a city this place was a breath of Welsh countryside fresh air. Sadly the hotel booking was not confirmed via email, I had to chase it, there was also a mix up with booking a hot stones massage, my email requests were totally over looked by a lady called Dawn, I think this could can been avoided if more attention was paid to emails, the manager did take on board my complaint, apologised and offered a complimentary voucher which was never sent, which is fine, I just hope no one else has to leave the spa for a birthday gift massage with no treatment and lessons have been learnt. My advice if your booking spa treatments, check once, twice and check again, I planned the trip so carefully and left disappointed due to this over sight. No accountability was taken, I spend a lot of time travelling and staying at hotels, all over the UK, for such a beautiful place it is sadly a no from me to return here.
