Unexpectedly good. Will for sure re-visit.

Greeted with Prosecco and chocolate for the children! Such a warm, friendly relaxed welcome from the man and blonde lady on arrival. Free secure parking, free breakfast, free pool and darts and a football room that kids loved. Rooms not five star but it’s a guest house & very lovely place to stay! Thanks so much. The man on reception on an eve was very helpful and nothing too much bother. We stayed the day of grand national so worried about the noise but it was silent despite the buzz of the place ! Such a friendly, welcoming place!

Just got back from this great guest house can't fault it the staff are the best people you could ever meet nothing was too much trouble the apartment we stayed in was spot on this is definitely our place to go when we r in liverpool big shout out to lou lou who does the breakfast and cleaning and george and special thanks to Donna for making our stay brilliant ,hope you all like your biscuits see you all soon love the hamiltons from darlington xx

Super wee guesthouse in the burbs of Liverpool at a fraction of the price you'd pay for a hotel in the centre. Got a lovely warm welcome from Ştefan and was delighted to hear I had been upgraded from a single/shared toilet/no brekkie to a double ensuite with a continental breakfast included! The room was cosy and comfortable and despite facing the main road there was very little noise, didn't even hear other guests in the building. There are good public transport connections into the centre and a row of shops plus a McDonald's about a five minute walk down the road if you need supplies. I only had time to stay a couple of nights in Liverpool, it's a fantastic friendly city and I would love to come back to see more. And I wouldn't hesitate to stay again at Castle Lodge, thanks for the great hospitality.

Manager very polite, hotel is in a great location close to the ground - can’t complain would stay again.

Stunning guesthouse with a public bus stop right outside the door that will get you to the tourist hub in 30 minutes. Donna and Stefan on reception, George on breakfast, and Lulu on rooms could could have been more helpful or friendly. Thankyou - great memories!

Me and my friend we absolutely loved are stay here 😍 it exceeded all our expectations, facilities were brilliant, cleanliness on point, lovely big spacious rooms and a free breakfast was offered what’s not to love fantastic 🤩

Property very well kept and in excellent condition . Staff very friendly , courteous and helpful. Nice tidy and clean room. Excellent complimentary breakfast . George was very nice and friendly. Will go back there in the near future.

Our previous hotel had double booked us, we’d been phoning around for about an hour but with a match and a concert on everywhere was booked, from the minute we phoned this hotel there customer service and genuine friendliness was brilliant, finding us 2 rooms, and we were given a free continental breakfast in the morning. We were all stressed but when we arrived, the friendliness of the staff soon washed that away, the hotel inside is so beautiful, we were taken through to the breakfast room so we could relax and help ourselves to a brew while the rooms were sorted out, we were shown to our rooms and made sure we were aware we’re all the facilities we needed where, and explained there was a night manager if we needed anything there was always somebody available 24/7, so we all felt very safe being there. The room was lovely, we had a hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, a place to hang our clothes with plenty of hangers, flat screen tv and even a nightlight. The beds were very comfortable, as was the bed linen, we all slept like babies that night. In the morning we went for breakfast, there were plenty of options, and the quality of the food was great, (I must say the cherry conserve was beautiful) there was plenty of juices and hot drink options, and the bread etc was always kept topped up as required. If you need anywhere to stay in Liverpool I’d definitely recommend castle lodge, the staff are brilliant and super friendly they will take care of you as if you were family and really do go the extra mile, we loved our stay with you and Donna and George you are amazing, we can’t thank you enough - we’ve all said we will be back to stay again soon.
