Hotel Hotel - Member of Design Hotels

This hotel was great and the staff were amazing. The morning breakfast was also amazing and very tasty! Overall I liked the hotel except my issue is wth the wifi as it was terrible. Basically kept dropping all the time and wasnt very usable. Any modern hotel now-a-days should have reliable wifi for travelers. My main issue was the wifi, but if im giving more feedback, i think the room was laid out weird. there wasnt really anywhere to sit or store luggage that wasnt in the way or cluttered. Other than that, the property was amazing, and location is great! If you need wifi for work/travel/etc though, id be hesitant to rebook. If you're looking for just a great location and wondering hotel, then this is a good choice.

Lovely staff make you feel welcome and at ease. Breakfast was delicious. The room was small but comfortable. The rooms were also quite dark, even with all the lights on. Overall the room and bathroom were good. The heating in our room didn’t work but I’m sure the staff would be happy to change your room if you let them know. The shower door seal was also faulty so water would escape onto the floor. However, not a big issue for us so we didn’t complain. Overall, a comfortable stay and close to transport links. Worth the price? Maybe not. But still a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay in Portugal.

Excellent hotel with very nice employees. The breakfast is really good with a la car menu! Close to most tourist locations.

Really nice stay with a lovely staff. Only downside was that we didn't get our room cleaned the second day.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I mentioned it was my birthday and I was surpass with champagne and a small cake. Breakfast was amazing each day, and the private transport was very convenient. I loved it! Thank you!

I am always skeptical of hotels with really high ratings, but if you are reading this, don't be. This hotel is just that good! It's an unassuming little hotel tucked away. It's a boutique hotel and comes with a ton of character (and instagrammable opportunities). We came here with a toddler who is very active and were worried about how kid friendly the hotel would be. But I gotta say, it was amazing. All of the staff were warm, friendly and attentive. I can't say enough about each and every one of them! Everyone got to know our little one and it was a pleasure being there. The restaurant is great and I loved their lobby bar. It's one of those places you come to even if you are not staying at the hotel. The hotel is very well placed on the outskirts of the old town and a 10 minute walk or trolley to top of the hill with a great view. Perfect location, we also came from the airport on metro with no issues. Biggest star for this hotel however, was if you are a parent. Our toddler was jet-lagged and very active, so at 5am I found myself entertaining her in the lobby. The staff was amazing, they gave me the keys to the yoga studio and the little one had a blast playing and using up her energy in the mornings. Super accomodating. Loved this hotel and will stay here again in a heartbeat!
