The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. This property was nice. It was very clean. It really only has the basics in the room. No fridge or microwave, 2 bath towels and a bath mat, minimal shampoo/soap. The breakfast was actually pretty good. However, there was no ”early bird” breakfast. Anything earlier than 6am was a box breakfast which was horrible. We experienced it twice. Fruit and a cheap ham and cheese sandwich on white bread. I think there was 1 piece of ham and 1 piece of cheese. For a nice hotel, they could have done much better than that!!

I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. All my friends booked different hostels all over Miraflores but we've made this the meeting point, as it was walking distance to pretty much anything and everything. The vibes were awesome. The common areas were spacious and very clean. I did a walking tour to Barranco with one of their guides, I believe it was with Juan and that was very cool. The staff in the bar/breakfast area could be a little better. Service was very delayed and they naver had change when you wanted to tip them. I had the private room with a private bathroom and it was super clean and cozy! I was so happy it was on the 6th floor, gave me a little bit of privacy. Overall great experience and highly recommend Selina!

This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

This hotel is a good choice, the environment is very good, the breakfast is also good, specially selected hotels with convenient transportation, because business travel must choose the most convenient accommodation.

The location is good, very close to the sea. The point is that the Chinese restaurant next to it is great. Eating is more convenient.

Really a great hotel. Stayed for 4 nights. Perfect location, near restaurants and supermarkets. Good wifi, lifts and nice size rooms. The staff are incredibly helpful. Always smiling and ready to assist. Starbucks is right next door too. Highly recommend this hotel

The hotel was excellent for the price we paid, and for the purpose that was just to spend the night, because we were in a long connection, I found the hotel excellent! The service was excellent, the transfer to the airport also! The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom too! I just thought it was bad not to have a lift, we stayed on the third floor and it was pulled up the stairs with a baby on the neck! But out of that I thought it was great!

The price/performance ratio of the hotel is not bad, the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and there is no problem to eat for two days. The room size also matches the price. The hotel is in the embassy area, very quiet at night. If you want to eat Chinese food, you still have to take a taxi and go out to eat. Several Chinese food nearby are all improved versions.

Summary: a very good hotel that gets its core mission right, with minor room for improvement to get a perfect score next time. The good: Staff: all staff I encountered from security at the front door to the check-in and restaurant/bar staff were excellent. All FOH staff spoke good to excellent English. A special thanks to Diego at the front desk for being especially friendly and going above and beyond to help me manage multiple reservations I had booked for this property, allowing me to stay in my original room and not have to check out and back in. Thanks also to Henry from the bar/restaurant for his warm and friendly service that made me feel especially welcome and valued. The room: what a fantastic room. Hotel is relatively new and as you’d expect the room is modern, with a seperate desk space for working and plentiful AC and USB charging points for your devices. A very modern bathroom with high pressure rainfall shower and seperate toilet behind a floor to ceiling frosted door. Food/drink: food and drink was excellent, plenty of local and western choices. Not local or authentic by any means but the ‘Texas Burger’ and ‘BBQ Wings’ wouldn’t be out of place at any high quality US diner. Location: hotel is in a safe, quiet pocket of Miraflores within walking distance to the beach, Kennedy park, Lacomar mall and Barranco. There are bus stops nearby if you wish to go to the Lima historic centre. The bad: The bedding: this seems like such an oversight, but the bedding was terrible. Tiny small pillows that are reminiscent of the ones you get given on airplanes and a scratchy blanket that brought back memories from school camp. This seems like an easy one to fix. Noisy: half way through my stay I got some noisy neighbours in the next room and you could hear their conversations clear as day through the wall. So be aware so this may be an issue. Fortunately in my case they went quiet at night time and my sleep wasn’t impacted. Smoking: while this is a smoke free property, the smoking area is right by the front door so you often have to walk through a plume of smoke to enter the property. Please consider moving the smoking area to the other side of the driveway. Conclusion: A very good hotel. If I return to Limq, this would likely be my first choice. This property is better than many Hilton (main brand) I’ve stayed at.
