This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

Located in a safe and residential area. 20 minutes by taxi from the Mariflores area. The rooms are clean but in need of some refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. I gave a 5 star because of the service, I arrived early around 12.00 and I did not have to wait, I was also given a late checkout which was a plus. On both occasion Luis was helpful. When I arrived there was a gentleman at the door, I was expecting to get some assistance with the luggage but that did not happen. Apart from that the hotel is reasonably priced. Few minutes away there is a shopping mall with a selection of high street shops and few restaurant (nothing fancy!)

This Hotel was everything I expected an more!! Phenomenal customer service throughout the entire stay, and everyone was so accommodating to any need I may have or concern. The rooms were spotless!! And I felt their safety measures for cleanliness was 10 out of 10! Antonio was so helpful throughout the stay! For my first time staying in Lima, they made it such a pleasure. The price/performance ratio of the hotel is not bad, the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and there is no problem to eat for two days. The room size also matches the price. The staff were very helpful. The rooms was spacious and clean. The bed was a king size. The rooms had good aircon. The hotel is in a good location, close to St. Martin's Square and 15 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas. The room facilities are outdated and listed on Samsung. It is very similar to the domestic guest house. The reception is very warm. There is a free internet computer in the lobby. Breakfast is average. There are scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, coffee, milk, cereal, yogurt, but not enough. Especially yogurt is good, room service staff does not charge tips. It is a good deal to book a car to the airport, and the 5-person van costs only 50 sol.

The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. Thanks Dazzel in San Isidro!
