i am an IHG member so i prefer to stay at Holiday Inns all over México but while the level of service is very good at this hotel the overall experience is not good. PROs - Very customer oriented staff at the restaurants and front desk - Location, walking distance of quality restaurants - very well priced CONs - Just one elevator for a hotel with 5 floors and over 160 rooms. I did not mind going up and down the stairs but my mother in law uses a cane to walk. She had to wait sometimes up to 10 minutes for the slow elevator to bring her up or down. - Staff with laundry or garbage uses the same elevator as guests. - Very slow process to check in and to check out - Access door on the second floor did not work. Access control in the elevator also did not work. Should be 2 stars but the niceness of the staff helps this hotel make it to 3 but barely.

Ubicado en plena zona de piel, con fácil acceso y estacionamiento seguro con vigilancia. La habitación muy limpia y silenciosa con aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme en este hotel. Por un error mío deje la llaves en la camioneta sin seguros y no hubo ningún problema.

I found my room to be clean, large and very quiet, just the right combination for a good night sleep. Breakfast was included and it was well-stocked with juice (green and orange), plenty of fruit (truly large trays), yogurt, cereal, chilaquiles, beans, etc., and dinners were quite satisfactory too (I tried arrachera, guacamole, chicken soup, salmon, house wine)..........but the best part was the outstanding service-oriented attitude of Susy and Sophie in the lobby, Claudia and Sophie (another Sophie) in the bar and Paula and Jorge in the dining area. I found them personable, efficient and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests were well-taken care of in said areas (lobby, bar, dining).......this must be one of the best kept secrets in Leon........I am sure the rest of the employees in this hotel are also superb individuales, but I can only mention the ones I interacted with........my deep appreciation to those excellent employees..................

My husband and I got married in León and organized together with NE hotel staff several rooms to accommodate 50 guests from abroad, as well as from different cities of Mexico. The NE team was very supportive offering their help and guidance throughout the whole process of booking and assigning the right rooms to each guest. Breakfast was delicious, as well as the tasty food from the Italian restaurant next door called Ma Come No. All friends were very satisfied with the service. It exceeded our expectations! We’ll definitely recommend it and stay there again.

I spent a week here for WRC Mexico along with a friend and loved the hotel. Breakfast is early, the staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the location cannot be beat. For the rally, it is across the street from the service park. For Old Leon, it is a 15 minute walk.
