Very nice place to visit and stay. Friendly staff and nice maintenance pool to cool off on this hot Kansas days. Highly recommend

From the moment we hit the lobby could tell this is a nice hotel. Better than most Hyatt Place. Desk staff very knowledgeable able to provide restaurant recommendations. Joes KC BBQ is outstanding. Everything was very clean. Room was ready but knew this through the Hyatt app. The only negative was that shower pressure could be improved. Really satisfied with the experience at this location.

I hadn’t posted about this because we’ve been hoping to hear back from the hotel regarding this incident. But during a recent stay at Radisson Hotel Lenexa, Overland Park, the breakfast buffet had a cereal labeled as cocoa Krispies. As you can see in the picture, this is the wrong cereal. My son has never had cocoa crispies and did not know what to look for so he trusted the label. The cereal appears to be Reese’s puffs as Robbie had a peanut reaction. The reaction caused swelling and itchiness in his throat, but he did not go into anaphylaxis. We were very lucky and thankful for that. However, the staff at the hotel did not care at all that they’re negligence caused this reaction and could have hospitalized Robbie. When I commented on it to the person in charge of the buffet, at first, they said that it did not happen. Finally, they acknowledged there was a problem when Phil insisted they remove the cereal from the buffet. At no point during Robbie‘s reaction did anyone from the hotel speak to us, apologize, show any kind of compassion at all. From what I understand, if there hadn’t been a label, it would’ve been incumbent on us to inquire if the food was safe. However, they mislabeled the food. It is directly their fault that he had the reaction. It is the grace of God that’s some thing worse didn’t happen. We still have not heard back from the hotel, despite Phil calling the manager last week. It is as if they are trying to erase what their negligence did to my son. If you have food, allergies, do not eat at the breakfast buffet at the Radisson in Lenexa Overland Park. But truthfully, I would just recommend not going there at all. Feel free to share this with others who travel, especially those with food allergies

The motel has free parking. My check in went quickly. There is a swimming pool. The rooms have outside entries. Free wi-fi is provided. My room had everything I needed. I got a good night's sleep and my requested wake up call. The check out was quick and simple.

Flew very early and was very tired and admittedly a little grumpy upon arrival to check-in. How fortunate I was that Ashley was in duty! With a friendly hello and big smile my mood immediately improved! She opened a drawer and pulled out my keys. ”You are in room 417”. The room was already assigned and the whole transaction was complete in less than a minute. She made some excellent restaurant recommendations. The room was large and had a kitchenette. It was clean, quiet and the room temperature remained constant at the setting. Great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and again.

Our tournament senior softball team stayed here. The room was not bad and was not great. I would give it a solid ”C+” rating. The free breakfast was worthless and definitely rated a D-. Another rater listed that the breakfast included ”breakfast (bagels, hard boiled eggs, waffles, microwaveable burritos to name a few)” but the only thing obvious was you-cook waffles and a few muffin/bread items. It is possible that the youth baseball teams staying here raided the food before we got to it. The front desk staff, at check in, was great, especially considering the madness of many youth baseball players running amok in the lobby and pool area. Parking was reasonable and the hotel is in close proximity to shopping and food. There are too many other good locations to stay at to warrant my wife and I staying here again.

I reserved three rooms on-line. The gal at check in had a difficult time processing the rooms, even though I already paid for them. It took 10 minutes and each room had to be processed separately - never seen that before. I ordered three king rooms and got “upgraded” to three double queen rooms. Not what I had hoped for. The beds in my room had visible deep trenches on both mattresses - they should have been retired years ago. There was an offensive odor of some horrible aftershave on the beds and chairs - yuck. The mattress trench and odor made it impossible to get any sleep. The shower used the old pull-up knob on the bath faucet - this thing allowed 50% of the water to flow out through the bath faucet vs. the shower head…not much pressure for the shower. They seem to have scaled back the complimentary breakfast - oatmeal was watery…couldn’t eat. There was no fruit. Donuts were stale. Pre-made omelette was satisfactory. Coffee was typical hotel coffee.

After a grueling ordeal of being transferred between hotels through a Third Party I ended up at the Candlewood suites in Lenexa Kansas . The night front desk was courteous and got me into a room quickly. When the next shift came on i became introduced to Preston, the overnight desk clerk. I had several issues with the third party I had been using for years . Preston was able to explain the choices I had and gave me information to relate to the third party. Preston was correct and was patient with me as I had to check in and out several times . I travel weekly as part of my job and his customer service was above anything I’ve received in years. Thanks you

Our stay was nice we liked the refrigerator in the room and the glasses there. We enjoyed the look of the room and had a nice day and evening the service was good and facilities were nice
