The man at the desk, who I believe to be the manager, really saved the day for us. After a 12 hour drive with too many delays we arrived well past midnight, but the manager was still available to open up the door and service. We booked and prepaid through Priceline but Priceline's 3rd party moneyhandler Agoda Services, which goes thru Thailand, was refusing to release the prepaid funds which meant the room couldn't be paid to the Inn. After considering all the available options (and the Priceline phone saying it'd be 5 hours wait time), even though the proprietor hadn't received the funds, he comped us the room on faith and said he would handle the payment from Priceline on his end. I could only experience this kind of compassion from someone who believed in customer service at the highest Quality and I hope Dharmendra Bhanderi, General Manager, who I believe I was talking to, gets the highest award and accolade and praise for doing everything he could to retain the customer, and succeeding! A+++++++++
Best Western Mission Inn

This facility offers an old southwestern, large log decor which is most difficult to dust; and is located just across the street from active train tracks offering much noise and vibration even in the rooms furthest away from the tracks. The bed duvet had multiple body fluid stains and very wrinkled sheets underneath. Management was quick to offer a 2 queen room but we were completely unloaded. She offered that the duvet was spot cleaned and the residue was cleaning solvent. She removed the duvet and returned with a clean set of sheets and an unused light weight blanket. Hubby remade the bed and with the sheets pulled taut there was a total opposite appearance from the unchanged linen from a previous guest. Breakfast reception was very militant and seemed guest safety was in question. Maybe locals had been walking in to buffet so the coupon method was started when really just ask to see the room key to enter the entitled meal. It was very unwelcoming. Worst Best Western experience and requested to talk with the manager. 36 hours later without response from him. will not be recommending this site.

What a great hotel! We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and took local hikes, shopped and dined. This hotel is a great location and close to Dripping Springs (beautiful hike), White Sands, Las Cruces farmer's market, Mesilla and great restaurants. The hotel was quiet and very clean. The AC in the room worked great and cooled off the room quickly and nicely. The room was also very dark for sleeping. The staff, especially Hector at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful. Hector went above and beyond. If we are ever in the Las Cruces area again we will definitely be staying here again!
Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces

We had another family reunion at Hotel Encanto last week. The rooms were clean and updated, the pool & hot tub were clean and in good working order, the beds were heavenly comfortable, and my dog was accepted and supported in her stay. However, Davion was the one front desk person who was able to clean up the many room billing tangle that we created, and he did so with grace and respect. My mother had double booked and changed around the rooms last minute according to her idea of location and preferences, and the room had been pre-approved at special rates, so the other front desk personnel had them completely mixed up and over charged. We are super grateful to Davion for his superb customer service!
Comfort Suites of Las Cruces I-25 North

Pretty pricey place. Stayed here because I had a blow out on the freeway, it was Sunday and I had to wait until Monday for the tire replacement. Their reservation system said I had a pet. My confirmation indicated no such choice. Anyway, they wound up giving me a handicap room which I didn't need. Came with two beds a sitting area and TV. The window view was terrible even though Las Cruces has some pretty mountains just east. The bath had a seat because it was a handicap room. Bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was plentiful, especially when so many motels have cut back. Lots of parking, even for trailers. the property sits at the top of a huge shopping area and there are many restaurants around. Probably best for larger families and those needing two beds. If it wasn't for the proximity to the tire repair shop, I would have stayed elsewhere.
