The hotel service staff are all local Lahu people, very simple and professional. The hotel manager is from Shanghai, with a passion for revitalizing rural and ethnic minority culture. He introduced us a lot of Lahu history, as well as the original intention and persistence of establishing and managing this hotel, which is very admirable. All rooms in the hotel are connected by trails. Most of the beehive houses can be directly entered with luggage, while the tent houses require a few steps. However, the hotel service staff are enthusiastic to help carry the luggage. In short, the experience of this stay is very satisfactory.

Despite the thrilling winding mountain road, the hotel is still quite distinctive. You can see the hotel's honeycomb exterior in Lao Dabao Village, which looks like an alien flying object halfway up the mountain. The room has a strong sense of design and advanced facilities, but I booked the wrong room type. You need to climb stairs from the living room to the bedroom to the viewing platform in the honeycomb room, which is not suitable for the elderly. The bar and cafe have a great view. The villagers' performance that night was not scheduled, and a sightseeing bus took everyone to Lao Dabao Village the next day to watch the village evening.
