I love the place. Staying here was very comfy, and great. Everything is great, especially the view. Seriously, this is the best stayed I ever experienced.

There are dormitories and private rooms, and both fire and microwave ovens are available in the shared kitchen! You have to go outside the room to use the toilet and shower, and the private room is full if you open two suitcases, but the view is good... By the lake, the 6-person room has an independent bathroom, which is very satisfactory. The room is not big. There are 3 bunk beds when you open the door. There are people snoring at night, which affects the quality of sleep. But there's nothing you can do about it. Who can't book a double room? In peak season, Tekapo has to be booked in advance. If it's late, you'll have to suffer.
