Overall, this is a cheap hotel with middle price range. Rooms rate are between MYR60 to MYR150 per night. No elevator here. You will have to go up by using stairs. For youngsters that is ok but for seniors and old people it will be a little bit hard and and uncomfortable for them especially for senior age people with knee pain and back pain. Reception desk is at ground floor next to the main entrance. Location of this hotel is strategic because it is only 2-4 minutes walk to nearby night market. The Lahad Datu Post Office is next to the hotel building then the market is next to the Lahad Datu Post Office. If you drive a car you can park your car overnight at Post Office parking area which is free. This hotel is located in busy road.

[26.10.2022] The receptionists are extremely bad at hospitality. One is on the phone, sitting, doesn't even acknowledge our entrance by eye contact, another just sit and look at us and does not even speak a word until we start. No welcome, no greet and no smile. When asked questions, answers are short and rude. It is odd why the hotel manager unable to deliver basic hospitality. Good look with no intelligence apa guna? It is highly not recommended to stay here, just stay elsewhere.

My room (superior king room) was big and clean, but smelled a bit weird, it might be the smell of the sanitiser. The building from inside is newly renovated (renovation is still in progress), the lobby looks very nice, the staff is nice and friendly, but they have no restaurant, no small bar, no lounge, nothing. And the most disappointing thing: I could smell in my room that someone(s) smoke in the corridor or somewhere close! It was crazy disgusting! Smoking is not allowed in the building, but unfortunately they cannot detect it, since there is no smoke detector, which is dangerous.

The overall environment in the small town of Semporna is average, so we can’t expect too much. There is nothing in the homestay bathroom except paper towels. You need to bring your own. The toilet is small, the room is small, and the suitcase cannot be spread out. The owner of the homestay is very nice. The reply was timely, the recommended restaurant was delicious, I suggest the boss leave his contact information on Ctrip, otherwise the boss just arrived and the boss is not there, so I don't know how to check in.

Pros: The environment is very good, the room is clean and tidy, the boss can speak Chinese, and the best thing is that the shower in the room has a strong water pressure, and I feel very comfortable after diving. Disadvantages: It is a bit far from the shopping area and the pier. Fortunately, our dive shop has a car to pick you up. I stayed here for more than 10 days for diving. The location is moderate, about 5.6 minutes away from the pier of Feima Hotel. There is heavy traffic during the day, but it is very quiet at night. The room is clean and you can directly see the sea and the newly built mosque next to it. There is a washing machine and you can wash your own clothes. If you find it troublesome, you can pay the staff 5 yuan to help wash and dry them. There is also a kitchen where you can cook your own meals if you are interested.
