Lovely place to overnight, very clean, well priced and the Padstal makes a very nice Bobotie! This can be pre-ordered so you can have a good meal when you get there. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the shower and bath had good pressure. Not too far off the main road, easily accessible by normal cars.

We really enjoted our two day stay at Bella De Karoo. The room and ensuite bathrooms were large and converted from a very old barn with many of the features retained. Lovely long verandah around the buildng to relax on, with a well stocked braai area around the back. Enjoyed the optional breakfasts on the back verandah at the nearby farm stay operated by the same owner.

Accomodation is about 300m across the road from the farmstall. Neat and nicely furnished rooms with lovely veranda. Great walks in the nature reserve with gorgeous views from the top hut. Friendly staff, recommended

It was in the middle of nowhere, during loadshedding no WiFi and we had to work so very inconvenient, also it doesn’t really look like the pictures it’s old the showers are awful and it’s full of mosquitoes and insects it was impossible to sleep

The place is nicely tucked away in an old barn. It’s a peaceful and quite away from the busy cities. The host was very kind and helpful. There are lots of places to visit in the neighborhood. It definitely offers good service. I hope they can reopen the Sebenza shop.

The Karoo has its own unique atmosphere which this guest house lives up to. I hope to be able to spend the night there again. Simplicity of the Karoo gives you a chance to focused what is important in life. Blessings

We had a nice stay at Bella De Karoo. Clean facilities, nice breakfast served at the farm stall. Friendly staff. Peaceful setting. Good value for money. Good base from which to explore nearby areas. Only 20 km from Calitzdorp.

Wonderful old property adjacent to Karoo conservation area for walking and mountain biking. You can self cater but we chose the lazy option of a tasty supper provided by the host. Will definitely consider a return visit.

The pillows were fluffy and the décor were exactly what i needed. Beautifully landscape scenery .Blue sky ,mountain view and even the trees surrounding the guesthouse were done in excellent taste. I came alone to be refreshed after a long weekend working .Ideal for family and friends .Next time I'm not gonna come alone.Very romantic and even families with animals are welcome.Hmmmm i feel fresh and ready..i needed this
