Decent property but the streets beside and behind are busy with motorcycles throughout all hours. Also there are many flies around the area, but overall a nice stay for the price. Also the food was very good!

Owners very nice/kind/friendly. Hotel is cute/small with pool. They are fixing little things here and there to make sure appearance is to par. Room met our expectation, breakfast was included, provided a huge variety from eggs, sandwich, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice and cake, i would say they over do it, no complaints! 😉

The hotel has excellent value for money combined with a familiar treatment from the owners who are an Italian family living in the Dominican Republic, they make you feel at home. It has a restaurant and swimming pools. A neat hotel. I would gladly stay again. Enjoy Nuovo Hotel Playa Catalina because: LIFE...is a JOURNEY!

I was welcomed by a real family, a lovely place, they have Italian cuisine and they cook really great. I recommend it with my eyes closed for anyone who wants to spend a few days in la Romana. I would go back immediately
