Mixed feelings: On arrival we were greeted warmly by a wonderful man (apologises as I forgot his name). Check in was effortless and I changed money at normal exchange rate (ATMs in hotel). We enjoyed a mint tea at bar (staff lovely) and took in the entrance area - which is huge with two big olive trees and piano as the central focus. •if you want to charge things to your room ensure you tell them at check in. We booked a king suite room and double checked this at checking: visually showing the booking. Yet the room given was sold as a king suite - was not! It was an executive king. It was a nice room with all the basics. Clean and comfortable. Air con good and shower works well (adjustable too your needs). Kettle; with no coffee making facilities e.g coffee. Just a little outdated and NOT the suit we booked. Two nights in we found a manger that would listen and check and was moved to a suit with apology; a refund for difference for the first two night and a couples massage was a lovely gesture. If you have a suite or executive room you gain access to VIP lounge - quiet place, good Wi-Fi and free drinks (coffee & soft drinks) and food/snacks. A nice little touch. Cleaners were fab and our room was always clean and fresh. They took their time. I do believe there was a plumping issue across hotel/Tunisa as often rooms and areas had a strong unpleasant smell. The cleaners do their best to mask this. The hotel is a little out of the way; which was fine as we wanted to relax (30-40 walk into la marsa or quick taxi ride). Taxi come quickly and stick to the price arranged. The Indian restaurant was one of the best meals I have eaten; I have visited Indian and been to many Eid celebrations. Staff were amazing; really made the visit. The Italian restaurant was equally delicious and the staff made me giggle out loud. Service was 5* - thank you. Breakfast buffet is standard set up. Lots of choice and freshly made egg or pancake choices. Very friendly staff on these counters. Pancakes were yummy. Coffee was disappointing- you can have a boiled large pre-made stuff or que for a disappointing coffee machine (only one for such a large hotel) Shop on site over price, friendly owner but I would given a miss. Cheap things over priced. I would recommend the Spa; they are currently improving the spa and gym but don’t let that put you off. My massage was well done and the lady doing so put me at ease. It was a couples massage; fully enjoyable a little bit of heaven. Thank you Pool area is large with plenty of sun lounges (need updating soon) and the most lovely pool staff: I watch how well the life guard took care of children and swimmers in pool. You can order drinks and food to your sunbed- nice touch Unfortunately: DONT bother with lunch buffets- staff seem uninterested or put out by any questions such as… can we have water with meal. Then look further put out when I asked for coffee and added additional charge on top of 75Dt per person.

Very nice hotel, value for money is also OK, the waiter is very good
Golden Carthage Residences

I will continue to stay here next time. The scenery is so beautiful. This hotel is more suitable for vacation because the place I live is a little far from the lobby. The Italian restaurant is more expensive but the taste is okay.
Le Palace Hotel

After a harassing arrival from the airport in the 35-grade bout tumult, the Palace must be a bargain of peace (climate, space, staff politeness). The room is very comfortable and comfortable. in the bathroom (!!), fixed telephone fixed on the wall of the bathroom next to the hair dryer (when you want to play the François clauses), electrical takes placed incongruous places ... As regards hygiene, the room is The hotel is a very clean and clean room and is not clean. The toilets are clean, but they produce a sound of a fat perceiver as the hunt is shot, as if a mason had suddenly started works at your home. The toilets are roughly rough for 10 good minutes. The hotel's swimming pool is superb and could offer a very pleasant environment if the hotel had not decided to transform the places into a night box, continuously broadcasting dancing music to any berzingue, The hotel is a very good place to stay in the hotel. If you look for the tasteful landing with a thousand flavors from the east, it is actually the cafeteria of the cola that lands in your bases: cartridge cereals, ultra sugar synthesis juice, Canigou sauces, yahourt of large surfaces, The Lipton insipide ... There would still be so much to say about this alleged 5 star Palace ... Prefer the Four seasons, just next to it. You will leave a kid but at least you will know why!
