Check-in only at 3pm and is an automated check-in/check-out system. Staff are very helpful and friendly. At check-in, you are free to choose your amenities from a very wide selection, including bath salts, face cleanser, moisturizer, coffee, green tea, etc. There is a giant tv in the room. No bottled water is provided. The room offers a full robe (short yukata and pants!). The rooms itself are very modern and renovated. There are two Family Marts and a 7-11 within a block of the hotel, as well as many dining and retail options within short walking distance. It is about a 15 minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and a 30 minute walk to Kumamoto Station.

We have used it several times. It feels a bit old in an old hotel, but it is a hotel that can be clean and calm. The morning Viking is a 10F restaurant, so you can see Kumamoto Jo castle that took the Asahi in front of you. The Viking was delicious as well. The size of the room and the hardness of the bed are satisfactory, but because the room light is small, I want another standlight and the bathroom faucet can be set to temperature I'm grateful. A lovely hotel to stay in close to Kumamoto Castle. The rooms are nice and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful. Bath areas on the 12th floor are also quite nice and have a range of offerings inside. Breakfast was included with the price we paid, however, all the food was a little tasteless, if paying for breakfast, it is easy to go downstairs and get something but I’d probably go somewhere else if paying.

Absence de parking dans l’hôtel . Les parkings situés en face sont hors de prix, mais la réception a des accords avec un partenaire situé un peu plus loin pour 1200 yens les 24 heures. A négocier avant séjour ou sur place. Je remercie les 2 personnes qui ont essayé de résoudre une demande de réservation de ferry, que je ne pouvais effectuer seul sur deux websites complètement en japonais.

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

A great B&B with large rooms, living room, dining room, open kitchen, parking lot, and a hotel with two indoor and outdoor hot spring pools where you can enjoy bathing. You can walk to a nearby store to buy ingredients and cook your own meals. You really feel at home. Great experience; very close to Jinlin Lake and streets, very convenient, highly recommended~~~ Passengers who book a room are reminded to check in at Yufuin village, which is about 1.8 kilometers away from the B&B, and receive the B&B key before checking into the B&B~~~
