Kipriotis Aqualand Hotel

I don't have a bad word to say about the hotel or the staff. From start to finish our holiday has been amazing. Please ignore the negative reviews and make your own mind up when here. We had a double family room at the top of the mountain which yes is a bit of a climb but the views are wonderful. Yanis in the white van was a life saver for this and if he could drive us up to our room he absolutely would do. It is still absolutely doable without this though but I had two little children so it really helped after a day in the sun. The bar staff work extremely hard from morning till night. If you have a few euros in your purse please throw it into the tip jar, they appreciate it so much and it goes along way to make their working days a little bit easier. The food is as expected in an all inclusive resort, we had no issues in the ten days we stayed here and they do themed nights such as Chinese and gyros nights etc. They have snack bars with ice cream, sandwiches yogurt pots and rice pots etc when the restaurant isn't open and they also do soup and sandwiches between 11 and midnight. The rooms are a little dated however extremely functional and fit for purpose. The cleaners work extremely hard to maintain the hotel and everyone greets you with a smile. The entertainment team are absolutely fantastic. Nacho the team leader ensures everything runs like clockwork and coordinates the entertainment unbelievably well. Credit where is is due. Ciara in kids club has looked after my daughter so well and is wonderful with all the children, including the more challenging behaviours that have been seen. She has the patience of a saint and is born to work with children. She nurtures and attends to the childrens needs identifying when someone needs a little extra support. Hakuna and bobo are fabulous at getting everyone up and involved in the daily activities such as yoga, darts, water polo and water Zumba shakey shakey. The evening entertainment is also run extremely well by the whole team. They have honestly made our holiday so memorable and made us want to come back next year. In summary everything has been amazing but a special shout out to the entertainment team, Yanis and the bar staff ♥️ Core memories have been locked in for a lifetime. Thank you ✨

Fantastic holiday! Animation team are amazing! Especially Nacho, he’s our favourite person! Hotel room cleaned daily, food good, hotel staff all pleasant, we don’t want to go home! We will definitely be back!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to bartender Daria! She is not only a very friendly and charming young woman, but also a true professional at what she does. Daria makes the most delicious “Sweet Cocktail” I have ever tasted. It is always a pleasure to see her behind the bar — she creates a wonderful atmosphere and makes every visit even more enjoyable. Thank you for your professionalism, kindness, and amazing cocktails! I will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would like to thank the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. The facilities, service, and atmosphere were excellent, but what truly stood out was the entertainment team. A very special thank you to Bo, Hakuna, Ciara, and Nacho, who went above and beyond to make our daughter’s birthday incredibly special. One of the highlights was when they allowed her to be the “yoga teacher” during the yoga session on her birthday. She was absolutely delighted and felt so proud and important. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made her day truly unforgettable. Throughout our stay, the entertainment team was friendly, energetic, and always made everyone feel welcome. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine care created wonderful memories for our family. Thank you again to Bo, Hakuna, Ciara, and Nacho for making our daughter’s birthday so magical. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to return again in the future.

We had the amazing vacation ever im Greece at kos island with Hakuna, Mercy, Leah, Bo, Curtis and Ciara and others were amazing. They do their work with love and Passion. If we had to vouch for them, they will be regarded amazing.

Best entertainment team ever and they made the atmosphere of the hotel amazing with their high energy. Mercy, Hakuna Matata and the team they where full od amazing amazing smiles everyday and we wants to come back again definetly

We stayed her August 25 and can honestly say it was the worst holiday we have ever had in all our years of travelling. We paid just over 8k and we were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday. From the moment we arrived we knew we’d made a massive costly mistake. We checked in late so only food available was the soggy banquettes but we just took that as it was and went to our rooms to get some much needed sleep only to discover a mouse running around the room. After an hour of security trying to catch to no avail they decided to give up an alternative room for the night. It absolutely stunk of raw sewage but it was only for a night or so we thought, nope we were stuck with it for the entire holiday but it turned out that a smelly room was the least of our worries. We had no running water in the rooms several times during our stay. When we did have water and had a shower the water flooded the entire room which was a massive safety hazard for our younger children. Our suitcases were ruined as the water corroded the zips. The toilets were constantly getting blocked we opened our door to go down for tea and had to walk through sewage. The pool and pool area was revolting, the tiles etc were never cleaned down so had spilt drinks and ice cream all over, a lot of the sun beds were broken and badly stained. The pool had green sludge around the edges and to make it worse it stained and ruined all of our swimwear. We watched the lifeguard scoop out excrement using a net and throw it into a bush. The pool water was never seen to be checked the whole time we were there. The food was really poor standard, fresh meat was cheep cuts of pork every night and the other offerings were cold and tasteless. The soft drinks are awful and cheap non branded. You are not given any water other than the one bottle on check on check in. We were spending about 10 euros a day on water. The hotel entertainment was really bad, particularly on an evening. During the day, they did the same activities everyday, darts, aqua gym and stretching, then a 3 hour break and back for volleyball. The only thing they seemed to get excited about was selling you a 20 euro tshirt and spend half an hour on a night ‘presenting’ them. The pool is only open from 10 until 5.45 at night, the lifeguard can get quite aggressive asking you to leave as they want to be gone by 6. The hotel is very run down and in need of a substantial amount of money invested in it to bring it up to 3* standard. I wouldn’t return even if you paid me. Kos on the other hand is a lovely island. Also be very wary of the Facebook group for the hotel it seems to be moderated by the hotel itself so you will only see positive reviews.
