Very close to the Mevlana Museum. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is not bad. Basically a hotel with smoking in the room? Non-smokers were hard. The bathroom ceiling sunflower shower was uncomfortable.Shampoo? There was no other amenities. One night seems to be ok.

I very much enjoyed my three-night stay at the stylish and colourful Hotel Think, which is located very close to the Mevlana Museum, the main sight in the city. The double bed in my room was most comfortable and the sound-proofing of the room was fine, which was just as well, as the road outside is a busy one. I liked the walk-in shower in the en suite bathroom, where hot water was available at all times. I had breakfast at the hotel every morning and also ate at the ground floor Safran Restaurant and at the fifth floor café. The quality of food served is very good: definitely above par for a hotel restaurant. I really liked the buffet breakfast, with plenty of fresh fruit available. It takes around ten minutes to walk from the hotel to the Alaaddin Park in the city centre. Just one suggestion. There was not enough storage space in the room. Either shelves or a chest of drawers could easily be installed under the table fitted to the wall, as there is plenty of space available there.

plenty of dining options all around. Despite being located close to the main road, the noise insulation was amazing. Not even once did we get disturbed by the traffic outside. The rooms are clean, well kept, spacious with all amenities one requires. The rooms have both heating and cooling options available. The breakfast was authentic Turkish and served in a restaurant with ample space and attention to hygiene. I spent 5 nights with family and became a fan of the place primarily because of the hospitality extended by the hotel manager Abdurrahim Dundar. An elegant person who is knowledgeable about history, culture, and speaks fluent English. He helped us book our taxi for the return trip to airport as well. The kids loved it so much that they didn’t want to leave after the kind of hospitality and care they experienced. In essence, we found another home away from home. The Hich Hotel Konya is a 4-star hotel in a 19th-century building. It's located next to the Mevlâna Museum, the mausoleum of Sufi poet Rumi, and a 4-minute walk from the Selimiye Mosque. The hotel has a garden, terrace, and cozy cafe that serves free breakfast (not buffet, but a large varied tray with too much food to comfortably finish). The rooms are traditionally decorated with handmade rugs, original artwork, and desks (their description) – actually the furniture looked like random pieces of 1960’s designs picked up at thrift shops, but functional, all the same. Some rooms have museum views. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible and the rooms and reception lobby are upstairs (and there is no elevator). I really wanted to love this hotel, but our room was spartan with old furniture, the shower was not all that well cleaned, the air conditioner didn’t work properly, the bed was not uncomfortable, but pretty hard and the TV had only one station in English which had 24-hour evangelist preachers. To the hotel ‘s credit, the staff was always polite (just occasionally missing), our room seemed freshly painted, the woodwork newly varnished and the TV (pragmatically useless as it was to us) was a modern flat-screen unit. The white-painted iron bed frame looks brand-new. Like the rest of the hotel and restaurant, there are copious libraries of current and classic books – but all are in Turkish. The 6AM morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque seemed to be a duet lamentation with one singer’s amplifier on extreme reverb. Maybe its just a style, maybe it’s a Suffi thing – when I asked, I was told that it’s not unusual and sometimes there are three voices. The front desk of the hotel was frequently vacant and requests for service went sometimes unheeded until asked a second time. The food, both breakfast and dinner, in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced but, again, the service was nearly non-existent.

The room was ok, the breakfast was good, and the coffee choices were great and delicious. There are no ironing facilities in the room, which is a bit inconsistent with five stars. It should be noted that this hotel charges a city tax, but it is not included in the room rate booked by Ctrip. I was overcharged by 10 euros, only to find out later that it was the tax. Most other cities in Turkey do not have this tax.

The room is small and compact, the location is very good, just next to the mosque of the father of the rotating dance, the decoration equipment of the room is very elegant and warm, the breakfast is not bad 👍🏾😌

Great hotel in a brilliant location. Has dedicated parking. Brilliant service and a great lobby to relax in, with a little prayer room. Rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained, with a mini fridge and kettle available. Also has a lounge on top floor which is great to relax in and order snacks or food. The WiFi is free but the speed is not the fastest, although does the job. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Overall, had a great stay and would stay again if visited Konya in future.
