From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless. The setting is beautiful, tucked into a hillside jungle while still being close to everything. The villa itself is gorgeous, super clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Steve and Mo truly made the experience, going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and always sorted. A big shout out to Steve, an absolute legend, who provided an invaluable taxi service throughout our stay and even helped sort our laundry. Transport on the island can be difficult and expensive, so having that support made a huge difference and took away a lot of stress. Each day felt like returning to our own private paradise. The pool was perfect for unwinding, the atmosphere was peaceful, and having the option to get food delivered to the villa made relaxing evenings even better. After a really rough start to our trip with a disappointing stay elsewhere, booking this villa last minute completely turned our holiday around, it was easily the best decision we made. This stay didn’t just meet our expectations, it completely saved our trip, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere unique, relaxing, and genuinely welcoming. This stay was 100% a highlight of our trip in Koh Tao and would without a doubt return here!

This was simply the most wonderful stay. From the moment I booked, I felt in safe hands. Communication was immediate (allowing for the time difference) and very helpful. As soon as we arrived we were scooped up by Steve and driven to our home for the week where Muhammad took us through all aspects of our villa and things to do on the island. Both he and Steve were at the end of the phone at all times which made for a very relaxed time. The villa itself was gorgeous and well equipped with a very comfortable bed. The view was stunning and the 24 hour availability of Steve to drive us was no exaggeration. The town and beach were a short walk down the hill and was buzzing and friendly with plenty of shops for any necessities. All I can stress is how easy everything was made for us and how restful the whole week was. We will definitely try to return!

Monkey Flower Villas – A Hidden Paradise on Koh Tao Our family of four adults recently stayed at the Bougainvillea Villa at Monkey Flower Villas, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Booking the accommodation was seamless, and finding Steve, our ever-attentive driver, at the wharf was easy—he made us feel welcome right from our first encounter. We were also fortunate to meet Lincoln, the owner, who greeted us with such genuine excitement about sharing his dream with us. Upon arrival, the amenities and views exceeded our expectations. We were all impressed with how the villa was built into the natural surroundings of the mountain—the large boulders featured in the bedrooms and bathroom added a unique charm that truly made the space feel special. The villa had everything we needed for our stay on this beautiful island. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. While both rooms had TVs, we didn’t find the need to use them. My son stayed in the loft and loved the ambiance and personal space it provided. The bathroom was generously sized and featured a great shower. The kitchen was well-stocked with cutlery, crockery, tea, coffee, a microwave, and a fridge pre-filled with water, beer, and soft drink (soda) to get us through the first night. There were also menus for local restaurants—we tried one for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the garden to eat. The pool was an absolute dream, offering a view to die for. Whether it was an early morning swim or a late-night dip, the fact that there was no curfew—as there often is in other accommodations—was a real treat. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. The team behind Monkey Flower Villas was highly professional. The rooms were always spotless, and the gardens beautifully maintained. Mo was fantastic with suggestions for our island adventures, but the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly Steve, our driver. Available day or night, he transported us wherever we needed to go, always with a smile. His knowledge of the island, its history, and his charming, funny, and respectful nature made him an unforgettable part of our holiday. We’ve already started planning a return to Monkey Flower Villas and Koh Tao, as we know there’s more to explore—and there’s simply no other place we’d want to stay than this little slice of paradise.

I cannot recommend a stay Monkey Flower Villas enough. My friends and I spent an incredible 5 nights in this hilltop paradise. Mo & his team were attentive, kind, informative and made our visit feel very special. Koh Tao is a beautiful island and we enjoyed our time here immensely.

After extensive research I was so glad monkey flower villas were available for our stay. We had villa 3 the smallest villa they have but still perfectly formed! Everything is so clean and welcoming, with a lovely bathroom built into the rocks. Nice to have fresh coffee beans to grind in the morning whilst sat taking in the sea view from the pool area. Lovely pool to cool off in. Nothing was too much trouble for Muhammad or Steve. Having a personal taxi service 24/7 was amazing and meant that you could enjoy the busier areas, but then be whisked back to the peace and tranquility of the villa. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone, it was fantastic. In fact we stayed another couple of nights it was that good!

I can’t rate this accommodation highly enough. We stayed in House number 1, with infinity Pool. The pictures do not exaggerate, the view is stunning. Kids could not stop jumping from the roof to the pool and had a great time. The lower apartment is huge and the natural rock bathroom quite the showstopper. Upstairs master bedroom has floor to ceiling windows for a mega night time view. Location is out of town which is nice for a family, you get a bird’s eye view of the nightly fire show on the beach. Only a few minutes into town with the provided taxi service (Thankyou Steve!). Air conditioned bedrooms helped break down the heat of the day. Mohammad and Steve could not do enough to make the stay amazing for us.
