Chaweng Beach Koh Samui|0.98km from Family Bar
1. Had 2 separate bookings and requested them to make it a back-to-back reservation so I have the same room throughout my stay. Had informed them prior to arrival (assured me it’s done), had to request and remind again upon check in (apparently wasn’t done). Came by the front desk to check on it a day before my 2nd booking (it wasn’t done yet again!). The next day, my key wasn’t working as it wasn’t programmed for my entire stay. They gave me a bogus reason that I need to check in again when I was assured everything was resolved on 3 occasions! 2. Requested for late check out and was told to check again on the eve of my departure. Checked on the eve of my departure, to only be rejected for late check out. Was repeatedly told to keep my luggage at 12pm when I was trying to reason with them. We know we can leave our luggage like any other hotel but didn’t want to. Hence, the late check out. The staff should be able to see the occupancy forecasts and manage my expectations upon check in and not disappoint me on a later day. 3. Shared my negative experience and after some empathetic requests (I didn’t want any monetary service recovery), was given an extra hour for late check out. They said that’s the best they can do. 4. Make sure to lock all your valuables in the safe. Housekeeping left my door ajar after make up room. I only found out when I returned at night! 5. Nice beach bar but basic cocktails. The minimum spent for a sofa/bed is ridiculously high. So visit other beach bars with better service and cocktails. 6. To all that’s reading this, don’t expect any empathy and assistance from this hotel. Don’t make any request! They can’t resolve them! I gave them 2 stars for the below. Positives: 1. Location is okay, quiet area with some stores and restaurants 2. Staff was friendly and pool is warm to dip 3. Breakfast acceptable.

Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort Koh Samui

Chaweng Beach Koh Samui|0.24km from Family Bar
Good hotel review for Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort review is still out of My friend and I have spent 2.5 weeks in this hotel. I have to say that the rooms in the main building are really not recommended. Very small, no clothes box, too warm, air conditioning does not seem to work so well, not clean, we found the idea there spend all the time goaaaaar not fun :-( Therefore we have upgraded and into a beach bungalow intruded. That was great! Very large room with a sky bed, terrace, large bathroom and directly on the beach :-) A few steps and we were already at the pool with a super view of the sea. The beach is small but very beautiful. Few people and Turkish blue water. You can also use another beach, but we found it still nice. Although big but full and there were not enough sunscreens. I prefer smaller beaches where not so much is going. Location: The location is super, everything nearby, supermarket, has 24 hours on, restaurants and etc. To Chaweng Center only 5 minutes with Tuk Tuk (50 B per person) massage we have made directly on the beach, This was very great (price about 8 Euro) There is a food market every day in the center where you can really eat very cheap. Also there are a lot of shopping opportunities. Service: Service is generally super, very friendly people in Thailand. A lady named Van has worked at the hotel, she speaks a good English and is super guilty and helpful. Breakfast: We booked the hotel with breakfast. The selection is not soooo contriving, fortunately you could always order eggs :-) So who likes a wide breakfast with a lot of choice is not satisfied. In the whole, I can absolutely recommend the hotel but only the bungalows. That was great time in Thailand! We will come back in any case :-)

The Mercure Samui, is hands down one of the most spectacularly positioned hotels on the beautiful Chaweng beach. At just one year old it is also the most beautifully landscaped and furnished of the many hotels we have been so lucky to stay during our travels. The team who maintain and care for the hotel and clearly understand the importance of guest services is outstanding. From the wonderful management of Nat and Nina, to their beautiful staff of whom there are too many to mention and the amazing reception team of, Sira, Bella, B and Daris, there was nothing that they didn’t do to make our stay as perfect as possible. We wish we could name them all. Everyone was wonderful! We had planned a seven day stop over here on Koh Samui as we came to the end of two months travelling in Europe. We chose the Mercure and Koh Samui on a whim as hopefully a restful place to unwind. We couldn’t have asked for more! We only wish we could have stayed longer! The breakfast each morning was a buffet with a chef station for selecting items that could be made on request. The restaurant team at meal times and at breakfast was cognisant of my wife’s gluten intolerance and catered for her with excellent alternatives. They were brilliant! We had not considered a return to Koh Samui before our arrival but all that has now changed. We will indeed return to the Mercure for the pure joy this wonderful hotel provided us during our stay. The beach is one of the cleanest and calmest of the beaches we have visited in Asia. Travel too and from the Samui Central mall or down to Lamai is inexpensive and extremely well serviced by small buses that pass by the hotel at least every five minutes and cost just 100 THB. The rooms are beautifully furnished as you would expect from such a new hotel. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom excellent. A fabulous shower! We stayed in pool access room, 2005. It was a real treat to be able to walk into the beautifully clean and well appointed pool whenever we felt the need for a refresh. Access to the pool and the beach was easy from all rooms with plenty of shady deck chairs available. The three bars, on the beach, in the pool, on the rooftop of the restaurant, offered happy hour times that varied between venues. As you can see from this review, we loved the Mercure on Koh Samui. We are already planning a return visit!

1. The location environment is very good, the beach is soft, and the door of the room is the beautiful sea 🌊; 2. The room facilities and supplies are relatively simple and old, the lighting is not good, the hygiene is acceptable, and it is convenient to use; 3. The service staff is enthusiastic and responsible; 4. The breakfast tastes nothing, but the weight is slightly less; 5. Like Trip.com customer service, considerate!

Chaweng Beach
The hotel’s private beach is less than 20 metres walk away and has a beautiful view. The only dissatisfaction is that the water temperature of the shower is not well regulated, not too hot or too cold. The waiter is very enthusiastic, but there are not many Chinese. The location is a bit biased. If you go out to eat, you need some time to see where you are going.

Chaweng Beach
A small but exquisite hotel in Chaweng Beach. The room faces the beach. You can swim and sunbathe in the yard, or you can go directly to the beach to soak in the sea. The water is calm and the beach is soft. The hotel has complete facilities, warm and thoughtful service, and the breakfast is not many but very fine. I will choose here next time.
