Only stayed here one night as I was booked the following days at a yoga retreat. It got the job done and is within walking distance of a really nice vegan restaurant.

I had never heard of TheraThip and I had been on the island for a while. I can tell you 100% that TheraThip is the islands best kept secret. The rooms are built into a cliff face and the view is one of the best. The food is also great and they have multiple services for you to choose from, so you don't really have to leave.

Reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights. When we arrived they said it was wrong to get 1 room and then asked us to sleep in an extra bed, which came to sell us 2 extra beds for 500 baht each. Even though it wasn't our fault. Then came to inform us that it was the fault of the resort. It looked like 1 room, 2 nights. How difficult is it to see? With an experience of this size, there is definitely no way to see it wrong. Look, you know that they sell rooms to foreigners. Then pretended to apologize and saw that we were Thai people. The TV couldn't be turned on and the staff said they would just check for it to disappear even though we slept for 2 nights. In the end we didn't watch TV. The second night we asked to move rooms and the room was very smelly. Came to have a look and the area next to the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all.

The room does not match the room selected. Reserved 4 rooms, the TV can't watch in all 4 rooms. The bathroom is not clean as if it was not cleaned. There are still stains stuck in the washing machine.

Wonderful hosts. Friendly. Warm. Family atmosphere. Water, pristine. Like a giant swimming pool at the end of your room. Lovely home cooked Thai breakfast. Highly recommend.

Lovely bungalow but no room service at all. The trash piled up for a week, no one collected it. We had to tell them three times before they eventually showed up and they did not even apologize or showed any remorse. Asked for a hammock and a chair pillow, they said they would need to find them first somewhere but nothing came up.

A compulsory quarantine in a hotel which must have had a period of prosperity but very distant. The situation of the COVID crisis does not forgive everything... Torn sheets, broken panes in the window, filthy bathroom, broken TV, a swimming pool left almost abandoned.... It’s a shame, the owner informed us that we were her fifth customers in 18 months…. Perhaps we should take the opportunity, without much expense, to clean and refresh everything a little. So very gloomy stay.
