The house gave me a very good impression. It felt cool when I entered the first day. The space on the first floor was open, and the glass in front of it was glass, revealing the clear pool and the sea in the distance. My family and I have a pleasant experience here. The location of the house is not too good, there is no shop nearby, but we rented a motorcycle when we went out. It is convenient to have a car. So this is not enough. We also book breakfast on the morning of the last day. A few aunts came over and made a table in half an hour. We will choose the next time there is a chance.

The room is nice, spacious and clean. The location is great, as is the Salad beach. The breakfast is okay, just the usual buffet, nothing special.
One thing I really didn't like is the motorbike parking which is really small. The staff moves the guests' motorbikes around, so later you can find your scooter behind 4+ rows of other motorbikes (they'll help you get it out though).

The location is perfect, especially the bungalows below, right on the beach and the incredible sunsets, the breakfast is very brief, the food is good but a little expensive, the bungalows are very good, but the worst thing is the staff, they don't smile never and it's hard for them to serve you something, without a doubt the most unpleasant of all the hotels I've been to... the pool, puff... green, but how dirty it is... I would repeat but only for the location, peace and rest .. thank you

This resort is simply wonderful! It’s not too big so it feels cosy and comfortable. Every room faces the pool or beach. The beach, restaurant, pool, massage, everything is very close by. The only thing I would say that was not ideal is that the shower is only a rain shower, which is hard for little kids and babies. In the room they have thoughtful little details such as flip flops, beach bag you can use during your stay, also gave mosquito repellent. But the best part is the outstanding service, every staff was so friendly and accommodating and efficient. At night it’s relaxing and convenient to take a table right on the beach and often they have entertainment like fire show or saxophone. Very grateful for the 3 days we enjoyed here. Definitely recommend to visit.

There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good. Hotel service is very good. Suitable for people who like quiet people, Koh Phangan is really quiet, and there are very few people in China. Anantara always pays attention to eating, must go to the restaurant on the second floor of the hall, their home ingredients are really very good, and the price is reasonable. It is worth living. Alternatively, the hotel has free kayaking to play. Oh, yes, it may be that the ecological environment in Koh Phangan is so good that there are often lizards.

Overall the hotel was nice but in several point not what we expected: We booked a „villa with sea view“. There was no sea view at the villa that was assigned to us. You couldn’t see the sea neither from within the villa nor from the pool nor from the sun beds nor from the outside bath tub. The only way to see a glimpse of the sea was to stand up on a certain spot on the terrace. That’s not what we expected from a room advertised as „with sea view“ and the (trip.com) booking page also suggested otherwise. When we complained, we got assigned another villa where we could see the sea partly. Thank you for that. However, the manager told us that the photos from the booking page were in fact another villa. But it's not my responsibility to make sure that the photos and pictures provided on booking pages are correct. The hotel has to take care of that! This holds also true for the next issue: The gym was closed due to renovation. In the booking process, they advertised a huge fitness center with lots of machines. Now it’s shut down and we did not get any information about this. The „mini gym“, which does not even have at least one multi exercise machine, is nothing but a bad joke and no replacement at all for a proper gym! Again the staff told us they would inform about this on their website. When I checked that, I still found the photos of the large gym on their own website. It was just called ”mini gym”. But how am I supposed to know what they mean by that and that the provided photos are no longer correct??

Stayed here for 3 days, think it's family run lodge. The hotel room key was really a key, a big one. The door creaked when opening but overall the room was nice, amenities was good. When requested for a kettle, the kind old lady provided me very fast....very nice. Pity did not make use of the swimming pool as it was hot for 2 of the days there. A short walk to a food court nearby, Thongsala Square (where the race start)...and the Walking Street where they had a nice night bazaar on Saturday, pity it rained halfway. Also a short walk to Phantip Market area. But definitely need taxi to the site of Full Moon Party lol Yes, also had a lot of tour agencies just outside the hotel. And laundry services, I did mine at a cheap 80 baht...and it came back ironed and with a nice fragance ...Highly recommended. (ok, they do have some self service laundry too at 30 bht per kg??? but definitely not ironed??)

Fantastic value for money for accommodation right on the beach. Each individual 'bungalow' is no more than 100m from the beach and they are all angled to give privacy from the rest of the hotel guests. Beach is stunning with good levels of privacy, and the sea is lovely. If you don't fancy swimming in the sea then there is also a swimming pool right on the beach. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and the location was excellent, with the centre of town being only a 10-minute stroll away. If you are interested in hiring mopeds then the staff at the hotel have a contact that we used (cheap prices, ฿150 a day). Would definitely return!

The Vannee is a 3.5 star hotel but we can’t do half stars here. The hotel lacks details on most ends but overall a decent place to stay. The breakfast was not good for the 2 days of our stay. The true standout aspect of this hotel is the massive pool that expands the length of the grounds. There is a swimup pool bar.

Thankful that this property was available for us to book during the busy April 2023 Full Moon Party season. For a beachfront property with a swimming pool, I find their rates are super cheap. We arrived at noon time and we were allowed to check in immediately. Our room was spacious and came with a veranda. The place could be cleaner but it never got a point that we felt it was bothersome. Make sure your windows are locked! On our third night, we discovered our windows were unlocked from the get go but luckily all our belongings were intact. The staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is within walking distance to the Full Moon Party and Haad Rin Pier so that's definitely a huge plus. If you're planning to party and just need a decent and affordable place to crash, then this is it.

IInna777The hotel is located a little far from civilization. You need to be prepared for this. The nearest 7 eleven is a 20 minute walk. This was not a problem for us. We stayed for 2 days and spent them entirely at the hotel. I didn't want to go out anywhere. At first glance, everything seems a little outdated, but the area has such a cool, relaxing atmosphere that after 5 minutes you forget about it. We lived in a wonderful Villa with a pool and sunset views right from the balcony. Breakfast and dinner were included. The food was divine. The staff is very attentive. Everyone knows what villa you live in, what kind of coffee you like, etc. It was very surprising. The hotel has a beautiful beach - although in the afternoon, because... in the first half, due to the tide, the beach goes under water. But in the afternoon it opens and it’s very cool to walk there. The places are very picturesque.

GGuest UserI had travelled to Haad Rin for the first full moon party post covid with two fellow travellers (aged 25-35). Moonstone was an incredible place to have this experience from. As a female in a room by myself I felt incredibly safe. Stefan and Joy who own the property are on hand for all your needs; scooter rental, laundry, drinks and good conversation. The property only has ten rooms making for a very intimate stay, all rooms have a beautiful view and most overlook the sea or both pool and sea - this was certainly a stay where I didn't feel guilty to lounge by the pool. Moonstone is also an excellent location to explore North and South, I did not feel as though I was missing out not staying in central Haad Rin. I am already missing my balcony where I finally enjoyed a nice bottle of red wine from the local supermarket! A big shout out to Stefan and Joy for also escorting us to the full moon and giving us all the help and advice we needed. This is possibly the nicest stay I had in Thailand.

GGuest UserHad a great time staying in this hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They gave me a discount on my room when i decided to stay extra day for the full moon party. Andy(i'm not sure if i remember it correctly) is very helpful in suggesting places to visit. He even treat us some beer. For breakfast they only have ala carte and food vouchers for those who will buy breakfast with the room. The room is huge, simple and the location of the aircon is perfect not facing the bed directly. I had a problem with the safe even when I entered the code correctly it wont open and the front officer helped me open it. My biggest problem in my stay is the amount of mosquitoes in the room. I had many mosquitoes bite and it was very itchy. I wished they had something in the room to kill the mosquitoes because even if i keep on asking them to spray my room there are still some mosquitoes left.

The hotel itself is a bit out of the way but if you just want to hang out at the resort, it is more than equipped to keep you busy and/or relaxed (gym, pool, spa, beach). There is a cute little street right next to it with tons of great restaurants (Monsoon was amazing!) and that street leads to a huge beach. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone, but couples and families in particular.

Sand & Tan (Restaurant) Beautiful space, delicious food and warm staff. The view of the beach is definitely a selling point and the seating options make it a great place for whatever time of the day you’re looking to visit.

GGuest UserWe were here for 4 nights as a couple. Basically we liked our stay very much, but we can not recommend the small bungalows. We stayed in the cheapest bungalow and it was so small that you could not even place the open suitcase. In addition, windows and doors were not tight, so we had many mosquitoes in the room. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was also right above our heads, so we both caught colds. When using the shower, the whole bathroom floods because the drain is at the other end of the room. Also, there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom. But otherwise the room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. We especially liked the hotel grounds. It is really in the middle of the beach, there is soft sand everywhere and the restaurant is also right at the water. There is also a pool table and a ping pong table, both of which we used very often. Special praise must be given to the helpful, friendly hotel staff, who were always eager to make one's stay as comfortable as possible. When we arrived the first evening, our window would not close. There were some communication difficulties with the ladies at the reception because they really didn't understand a word of English. In the following days, however, all the ladies at the reception could speak perfect English, which made communication much easier. Nevertheless, the ladies gave us a new room for one night, which was a great relief. Right next to the hotel is a scooter rental. We rented a scooter here, which was really uncomplicated and cheap. In the area there is very cheap and delicious street food, for example at ”Mama Thai Food” or ”Life Style” with super nice owners. The breakfast in the hotel is delicious and there is a choice of several dishes. However, it is ”a la carte” and you can only order one dish. The portion is a bit small for a grown man, so you would actually have to order 2-3 dishes to get full. Even the most expensive breakfast ”Milky Bay Breakfast” includes only 2 slices of toast, 2 fried eggs, a few mushrooms, 2 slices of tomato and a single piece of bacon (?!). Fortunately, free fruit (pineapple or watermelon) is always offered as well, which helps you get a little fuller. Conclusion: if I had to rate our room exclusively, I would only give the resort 2 out of 5 stars. I've slept in beachfront bungalows in Thailand that cost between 10€-20€ per night and were more comfortable and modern than our bungalow (50€ per night). However, due to the fantastic service, the great facility and the nice staff I give 4 out of 5 stars and the following advice: Don't book the smallest, cheapest bungalow! We saw the better rooms from the outside and they looked really big and modern. If we had stayed in such a room, I would have definitely given 5 out of 5 stars!

GGuest UserCould not fault the location or the staff here. The location is literally right on the beach and perfect walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were so lovely and helpful too. The room was nice, clean but the aircon wasn’t great (fine if on for a while). The toilet water and shower was often brown too but I don’t think this could really be helped. Our room also got cleaned which we appreciate but when we came back the door was just left open, as well as the balcony door on the ground floor. Everything was ok but anyone could have walked in to all our things. The hotel restaurant was really good!

GGuest UserWe had a very pleasant stay at the Summer Luxury resort. The rooms are really spacious and the resort is pretty with a nice pool and a sea view from the restaurant. We went in December and I believe there is a high tide at this time so there was no beach, but this didn’t really bother us as we didn’t have great weather anyway during our stay. The downside of this hotel is the location, there is a dirt track to get to the hotel which I personally wouldn’t feel too comfortable walking down at night. We hired a car as we found that there wasn’t many restaurants / things to do within walking distance. Having said that, the restaurant at the hotel is really nice, we enjoyed the food and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was also really good too. The reception staff were also friendly, I didn’t get his name but one man in particular made our stay with his welcoming and warm attitude, and willingness to help us with any queries/trips we wanted to book etc! Another member of staff at the poolside bar was very friendly and attentive too. Unfortunately the cooking class wasn’t open due to maintenance during our stay which was a shame as we had rain most days and found ourselves looking for things to do. The spa was also closed for maintenance on one of the days. Overall, the hotel is nice, and I would definitely recommend if you’re not too bothered about hiring a car/scooter to get around.

GGuest UserWe are here at the moment. Staying 4 nights total. Very good value for money. The location is great, by the beach. About 15 minute walk from Haad Rin where Full moon party happens. Nice bars near by, shops. Majority of customers young people from all around the world. The room was basic but clean an nice. Very good value for money. Lovely own terrace to sit in. The hotel staff is super friendly and good service. Lovely hotel dogs too. Pool area very nice. Restaurant is ok, serves variety kinds of foods and drinks. Travel agency on site where you can book tours, scooters etc. It was very quiet on peaceful for first few days but when people started to arrive for Fullmoon Party the nights were difficulty sleep since the Brit youngsters were shouthing and partying in front of the rooms rather staying in pool area or the beach. Hope the staff would remind guests that there are places where you can stay and party 4am in the hotel area other than in front of other peoples bungalows and rooms.

DDoroZaI was a week at the Tharathip Resort at Koh Phangan and I have absolutely nothing to expose. The staff is very helpful and premature. I always sat on the terrace with my laptop on the lunch and drank a coffee, the staff were careful and already knew exactly how I loved my coffee and brought it to me without having to order any ; -) The rooms were exactly as described. Clean, spacious and with a balcony with sea view. The beach before the door is not suitable for swimming, but there are enough others on Koh Phangan. Just rent a roller and explore the island. The accommodation has its own roller rent and is only recommended, lend the roller for several days there is a discount. The food m restaurant is also recommended, if request it is also brought to the room.
