Gréât location quiet in the evening. Pool a must - not large but sufficient. Alan and team really helpful and friendly. The attached restaurant is a good bonus with nice food. Jew town is quieter than the fort area at night time but very safe from what we saw.

For us this place was magical. A perfect boutique hotel above a fascinating architectural salvage business with a great riverside restaurant, small but nice pool and close to interesting shops. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it hugely

Fantastic Hotel, great place to spend time, excellant accomadation and very friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located, lots to do in walking distance and easy access to the rest of Kochi.

The photo of the pool makes it look a lot bigger than it is, but this is easily offset by the rooms being even better than they looked. The hotel has loads of character, interesting art everywhere. It has a real luxury feel and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you have everything you need. Someone even went out to hunt for tonic water for us and found some! Like most places only beer and wine is available (a lot of places are dry), so we brought our own gin. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is Indian but the great food is one of the reasons we’re here. I’d highly recommend this place.

One of my favourite places we stayed at in India. Visited the restaurant last visit and is was as delicious as before with the added bonus of staying on the premises. It is a very special place and owner and staff were so helpful, professional and friendly. We felt very well looked after. Also attached to a antique warehouse and gallery as well as restaurant overlooking the backwaters. Everything in the hotel and restaurant can be purchased... There are only a few rooms and all individual and unique, amazing bathrooms with Japanese toilets and great products. Would have been happy in any of them. Nice small pool too with brilliant views. Overall I can't wait to go back.

Gorgeous boutique hotel, in a fabulous location in the heart of Jew Town, our room was stunning, pure luxury. The staff are so helpful and friendly but always professional. A special mention for Allen the ***ager was there for all our needs. Also had great food at the attaceh restaurant. The owner is a delightful gentle***, great to chat with at breakfast. Would highly recommend and plan to return.

Easily makes the top five on my favourite hotels ever list. Truly memorable. As it says - a museum (of antiques) which makes this likely the only one of its kind anywhere in the world. The ambience is stunning and the rooms incredible. The owner is a delight and sets an example by waiting tables and cleaning them down himself.

We had a wonderful stay at this unique hotel. The rooms are amazing! The beds are incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms are an excellent standard. It became our home from home whilst we were in Kochi and a lovely oasis from the hustle and bustle. And we were so very well looked after by Alan and his team. We ate at the restaurant everyday and the standard was always very good.
