Ataman Luxury Villas

We stayed there for 10 day at a very large comfortable villa, individual service, delicious food, beautiful nature, not many people around - everything was cool. If you are looking for a secluded spot to rest, relax and enjoy the sea - it is the best place to stay

Location, Location, Location! Attaman Luxury Villas will provide you with an extremely spacious and completely private luxury refuge at a beach (respectively whole Island) that has not been hit by masses of tourists, yet. We booked one of the Honeymoon Villas beginning to mid November 2023. The resort consists of 6 Villas (with 5 of them for rent) managed by a Caucasian family with Thai employees. We had our most relaxing holiday, yet, and definitely got more than we came for. Alexander, lovely Groundmanager Key and all staff went out of their way, to tend to our wishes. Natalia and Alexander also organised trips to the main land for us. The Decorations of the Villas are luxury  (e.g. Crystal chandeliers), with the Villas being as mentioned above extremely spacious - we had to literally call each other's names when looking for each other in our place. Besides the multiple and extremely generously spacious joint areas (Dinning room, kitchen, living room, hall, pavilion, porches, terrasses, extra toilets, utilityrooms..), our Villa had next to the master bedroom 2 extra Ensuite bedrooms that were locked. So, even though there were bigger (e.g. Two-story) Villas available, our place would have offered more than ample of space for a family of 6 or e.g. 3 couples. Every Villa also sports a massive 6x12m private pool with a sizeable shared pool on the grounds. The most amazing attribute is the complete privacy in the Villa and at the private pool - only at 9:30 am Dimitri will walk over the ground to feed the fish in the Zen Ponds. Sometimes there might be a gardener, depending what works are necessary on the grounds. One can always ask for any upkeeping to be done when one is out, though. We e.g. were having breakfast at the main building at a different time every day and staff would fit their schedules around it. Since it was beginning of season, there were some small hiccups in the Villa, but, no matter what time of day or night there was an immediate reaction by Alexander and/or staff trying to fix it. Location: the Resort is set in a Tropical Garden with views of the sea. A picture postcard path between some trees leads to the wide and especially long sandy beach. To the north there is e.g. only 1 resort, after that there are almost 9km of sandy beach before there is the next resort. It was beginning of season and we met only 2 fisherman on a walk there. So heaven, if you are keen to unwind and recharge. To the South, there is a Naturalist Resort and another Resort (both have restaurants that can be used on walk in basis). After that, it will take a 25min walk on the beach before the next place and from there even longer to the next... Wildlife: at sunset and sunrise (about 6pm/6am), cicadas will start to "sing" for a few minutes, which is quite intriguing and something one starts waiting for. Villas with great location, with a desserted beach, very green and beautiful landscape. Very welcoming owners, personnel, very tasty, good quality food! With average prices for everything (food, alcohol, spa). You may want to seek an alternative along the beach, but I would advise to take advantage of the hotel service - you can be sure you have great quality for an average price. You never hear to your neighbouring villas, each villa has some privacy due to a nice landscape. If you need some activities the owners will always help to arrange everything at best. On the beach there are several sundecks, hammocks, everything is clean. Flat sandy shore. Very warm and calm in November ocean. Great sunsets. If you need a getaway to the paradise you are welcome here.

Beautiful place to unwind and relax! Surrounded by green nature and quiet, long beach. We spent several weeks with friends and collegues at Ataman villas and everything went so smoothly. The very helpful owners and staff always delivered our needs. They organized day trips and scooters for us, our favourite foods for breakfast, even the lawn was cleaned for our outdoor yoga sessions and the list goes on. The staff made sure the villas were always clean and all the pools and garden were kept in good condition. The location is perfect for privacy and relaxation but there is also some restaurants near by where you can walk along the beach. We went to Khao Lak market few times by scooters but it was always nice to come back from hustle to Ataman villas serene paradise. I stayed at this villa for two weeks, and it was a very nice experience. The stay was very quiet and private, and the staff did their best to ensure that we enjoyed our time there. They also suggested and organized itineraries for nearby attractions. The villa was clean, private, and had both common and private pools available for use. The restaurant was open when needed. All the villas there had plenty of room for multiple families, with everything you need, from TVs to kitchen appliances. Wifi worked well in all areas, including on the beach. However, there was always something that could have been done better. My separate bedroom also included a toilet and shower (all bedrooms had that), but there was a problem with the ventilation that caused bad smells. While the breakfast varied during the stay was quite ok, whenever possible, I decided to have lunch and dinner elsewhere. I really enjoy original spicy Thai food, which was only offered at neighboring restaurants. They were also missing BBQ sets; it would be nice to organize something on the beach. Don't get me wrong, the restaurant's quality was okay, and the staff was super nice, but I think it was more catered towards Western tastes. Having dinner on the beach with oil torches would be better than in the middle of the hotel complex. The spaghetti bolognese was good, but the portion size was for Thai people :) One night took "Chicken with cashew nuts" from hotel restaurant, it was super size and super good. But usually the restaurant was rather expensive compared to what you actually get. When staying at the villa for such a long time, it would be nice to have reasonable prices for common things. One annoying thing was the aircon; it was keeping some noise outside of my sleeping area nearby. Even though I didn't use it at night, other rooms were probably using the same outdoor unit. The owner also warned about using too much electricity, which is rather strange. I would recommend this villa to those who want to get away from "it all" and enjoy great privacy, such as for company events like we had, or with families for a long weekend. Enjoy the very long golden beach and incredible night sky with no light pollution. This small island can driven from pier to pier less than 30 minutes with moto. Moto is mandatory to getting around, you can forget taxis.

We loved the Villas and loved the service. The Villas are very luxuriously appointed. We had a private pool next to a beautiful beach. There is netflix and amazon prime on the tv. Alex and Natalia the owners and all their staff can't do enough to help you. It's a dream vacation. We are looking forward to going back again.

We had a great 1 week holiday. The pool of the appartement was private. The appartement huge and luxurious. Cleaning everyday twice. Any wish, just ask Alexander;-). All Personal friendly. All food good and in big variety available. The hotel pool for all guests was also nice and it was deeper than normal. Kids enjoyed diving activities there! Everything was Clean! Good owner, Happy Personal, Happy customer! We will come back!

Attaman Luxury Villas are generously designed, separately located and indeed luxuriously equipped. The pool every villa shares is not the usual bathtub in the outside, but a truly sizable pool that allows swimming and diving without reaching its walls immediately. The villas are nestled between trees along a lonely beach that invites to romantic walks along the seashore. One of the greatest features, though, is the service. Not only does one have a semi/private maid that is around without being noticeable, but also a very good chef that is never afraid of accommodating individual food wishes and delivering the delicious meals into the dining hall of the villa or its outdoor pavilion. No doubt, we will be back as soon as we can.

Ataman Luxury Villas are all you can ask for. The villas are situated in a beautiful garden right on a rural beach, and they are spacious, clean and well-equipped. The restaurant is fantastic and food can be served in the villas. Travelling to and from Ataman is easy and only about 2 hours in car from Phuket International Airport, and you can be picked-up in the airport. The staff is extraordinary and the service unparalleled. Ataman Luxury Villas are highly recommended.
