The quiet ecology of deep mountains, dense forests, lakes, and open-air bathing are a wonderful time in life. The food was great and did not disappoint. The room was very big. I will come back for vacation if I have the chance. There is also a ski resort next to it 🎿⋯⋯

This is a big and busy resort hotel in a very scenic area. The room was large and well equipped. The staff in all departments were friendly and helpful.
The included breakfast and dinner (both buffet style) were of a reasonable quality, although quite monotonous if you are there for more than one night. It is quite remarkable how badly some guests behaved when getting their food - a real “bun fight” at every meal.
The restaurant staff were amazing and did everything they could to keep the tables clean and the food displays well stocked.
Overall, this is a well run establishment with a very pleasant private onsen that can be reserved for a fee.

My wife and I stayed in a lake view suite. The hotel facilities, front desk response, cleanliness and quietness were perfect. Dinner was buffet style, but I felt something was missing. There weren't many types of main dishes. We stayed for one night, but the couple at the next table had the same menu as the day before and were disappointed with the meal, so I think it was a mistake.

The Nekoma Rikyu at Bandaisan Lake Resort was gorgeous and comfortable. The hot spring dedicated to the cat house was also wonderful. Dinner and breakfast are served in the dining room of the Goshiki no Mori building, so we walked down a long corridor. In other words, dinner and breakfast were on the same level as "Goshiki no Mori".
