Victoria Hotel

Great location, excellent hotel with complimentary parking. The breakfast is delicious and served promptly. Definitely planning to stay here again.

Just not the same! Went for lunch with some friends, we visit regular, so always book as we know it can get busy. This time we were seated in the lounge bar, it has been refurbished but definitely prefer the dining room. Now for the food, the steak pie, was the best in town, not now. Tiny piece on the plate and very little gravy, few chips and some very strange coloured looking peas, curry was tasteless, and the portion of fish, tiny.. although tasted very nice and fresh! Not sure what's happened but seems to be missing a lot of staff, and the ones who are still there half of them look like they're being forced to work, and not enjoying like the other ones did, lady behind bar very abrupt. Please sort yourselves out, we love the Victoria

Visited the restaurant 20/01/2025 with friends for lunch. The food was of high quality and good sized portions. The menu was varied with a wide choice . The prices were competitive with other eating places in Kirkcaldy. The bar area has been decorated with new seats and tables which was badly needed. The staff were very attentive and the service was quick. Will return to eat here in the future and would highly recommend

We got married here on the 13th of april 2024, steph who was our go to person if we needed anything, was fantastic. Anne-marie the other manager Is also great! Just unfortunate every time we needed something answered it was steph on shift! No question too big or too small relatively stress free on our end.. Come to the day. We didn't have a big wedding only 30 guests. But you can tell this hotel has experience. We got married in the hotel aswell as the meal and reception, when we arrived we where asked to sit in the bar whilst the finishing touches where done for the ceremony, when they where ready we got called in then send back to the bar again and this cycle was repeated for every step of the wedding so they could sort the room out. They where fantastic they didn't keep us waiting long at all. They where also very accommodating for all our guests. The food was fantastic everyone had something good to say about the meal. Everyone's food was hot and fresh and served quickly. We stayed in the hotel, it was a nice big room, and we got breakfast the next morning which was definitely needed! A big thank you to steph, ann-marie and the team for making it as stress free as possible. We have recommended yous a few times and I think atleast 1 has booked up with you for a wedding! My room was very small but clean and well presented. The shower however was abysmal. Every morning I was there, I got barely a dribble of luke warm water and that was after running it for at least 10 minutes to get it a little bit warm. I noted this with staff who've got someone your look at it, but it made no difference. The system is clearly not able to cope with any demand. The heating was the same. It would be roasting in the afternoon but barely any heating in the late evening or early morning, no matter how you adjusted the radiator thermostats. The shower was totally unusable. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were like slabs, so flat and hard. The saving grace for this hotel was the staff who were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would not stay here again though.
