Location: Very good, walking distance to everything in Key West.
Service: Thanks for providing early check-in in hot weather. The second time I went to the counter, the waiter could call out my last name.
facility:
The bed set was very clean and pleasant, the best bed I've slept in since travelling for a month.
The bedside clock was so annoying that I had to unplug the battery and put it back on when I checked out.
There is a front yard, but the room is very small, and there is no place to spread the 26-inch suitcase.
Since it is the first floor of the bungalow, there are inevitably all kinds of insects in the room.
Living in room #84 in the second district, next to the swimming pool is inevitably a bit lively at night.
The occupants of room 85 next door are quite noisy watching TV all day. Soundproofing is not very good, although not entirely the hotel's problem.
Food: Breakfast was better than average.

The hotel on the island is very small, we live in a suite, air conditioning because it is a window machine, noisy, because the day left did not have breakfast. The car stopped on both sides of the road and there was a special parking line.

The location is very good, but I can't see the view, I don't know the view of the sea view, but it is not a wharf. Eat, drink, everyone is happy

La concha is a beautiful & historic hotel in the heart of beautiful Key West. The location is unbeatable & the balcony rooms, while smaller than other standard rooms, offers excellent people watching & beautiful blue sky views. A parking space is included, which is great to have right on Duval & Fleming Streets. The staff was mostly very friendly, but the service level varied. At one point in our stay, the front desk went out of their way to make us a key card to use the microwave located in the conference room. When I asked to use it the next day, another staff member says there wasn't one in the building. I went & took a photo through the window to show him. He then said he could not grant me access as the desk had previously done. No biggie but a little frustrating.
Our main issue with the hotel was HIDDEN FEES. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged a fee of over $80 per room as a ”destination fee,” which was never explicitly disclosed & was certainly not fairly advertised. I asked about waiving this fee & the night desk said it was possible to check & see with day manager. The next day, they insisted the fee could not be waived & were unwilling to help with it further. I let them know I booked through a 3rd party prepaid, it said fees & taxes were included. They said read the fine print. They charged my card for the fees. Not being forthcoming and clear about the destination fee was the issue I had. And having parts of the hotel amenities, including outdoor areas, being closed off during the stay make this resort/destination fee more of a slap in the face. To highlight this point, the staff at this ”destination” hotel warned us that if we see some stuff a little run down or not in operation, its because the hotel just got bought & things wouldn't get straightened out until the new company takes over.
Also minor issues for such a pricey hotel included missing slats on the inner balcony door & similar minor cosmetic issues.
Other than that it is a beautiful building & top-notch location. Overall the experience was very enjoyable.
P.S. The awesome bar tender makes delicious key lime martinis!
Caribbean style resort with open air piazza situated on the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of old town Key West. Offering 118 guest rooms with tiled entry foyers, private balconies, ceiling fans, some rooms offer a partial water view. The dress code throughout the island is casual resort wear.
GGuest User2021.05.01
The hotel for more than 6,000 nights is only part of the sea view, and the rest is the small beach of other houses, simple cars, and the scenery. The room is clean and tidy, and the bed is big and comfortable, but the noise of the air conditioner seriously affects sleep. The hotel’s seaside restaurant is good, while enjoying the food, watching the sunset.

The location is very good, right next to the southernmost scenic spot. The public viewing facilities in the hotel are also readily available, but personally I recommend not to choose those expensive ocean view rooms when booking, because the good views are in the public facilities The view of the room is average, so it is not necessary and the price will be much worse.

The worst Waldorf I have ever lived in, a hotel built in 1920, the location is good, there is a private beach, and it is very close to the southernmost landmark and the main street, within walking distance. But the room is very small, soundproofing is very poor, the air-conditioning sound has reached the level that affects the rest, the facilities are not well maintained, not the standard of an old five-star hotel

Excellent
AAndreas StruppeStaying at this guesthouse was really a very good and not too expensive choice. The room had all you need and the people were so friendly and helpful. Duval Street ist just around the corner. The complimentary breakfast gives you a good start for the day. I will stay here again sometime.
SSunny Cintron 21This was an awesome experience. Hotel was nice and quaint. Only thing I didn't like was we didn't have anyplace to hang our clothes up or put things away. Near Duval street and downtown. Pool area was well kept. Staff was very friendly. If I stay for longer than one night I will definitely look into a bigger room. Close to beaches, shops, dining. I would stay again for the price it was worth while.
GGuest UserThe room has a very beautiful color scheme. The sea is just across the road from the window. The view is beautiful and not noisy at night. There is a small living room (with a sofa bed) and a kitchen. The kitchenware is complete and very practical. There is a free parking space and it is also close to the supermarket. It only costs a dozen dollars to take a taxi to popular attractions (such as Hemingway's former residence). The only problem is that the quilt at night is very thin, similar to a blanket, and it is a bit cold. You need to ask the hotel for an extra quilt. But overall, I am very satisfied and I will probably come again next time.
JJIETAOThe hotels in the United States are all beautifully built and the pools are large. Very comfortable, the child played for a long time. The interior of the room is indeed incomparable with domestic ones. Parking is free. The beds are one meter five. Sleeping with children is not wide enough.
GGuest UserIt’s too far out from the main area although there’s a shuttle into town. All our clothes smelt damp after just 4 days of being there. The room felt very damp the bed especially. Pool is ok but I’m sure you’d struggle to get a sun bed in high season. The beach is nice across the street but the sunbeds are rentable from a company $$$
GGuest UserBeen to Key West many times. (we live in Fort Lauderdale, so it's a nice getaway that is a short drive) Our preference is to stay at guest houses on the east end of the island, rather than staying in the busier east end. We rent bikes on arrival and keep the car parked. Parking is a problem with this property. They have what appeared to be 6 spots at $25/night, and 20 spots at a lot nearby at $20/night. None of which were available. Options were to park at meters at $5/HOUR, or to find rare non metered street parking. Since we frequent the area often,we knew where to street park w/o meters, just 2 blocks away.
The room was clean and simple, no maid service, you had to go to the desk and ask for towels, soap etc. Comfortable bed and a fridge in the room. Only drawback was the constant drone of window unit A/C that barely kept the room cool.
When I booked the room the confirmation email said that upon arrival we would be charged $74.97. What we were actually charged was $118.09. Even showing the confirmation email to the desk attendant made no matter.
The included continental breakfast was sufficient, juices, coffee, waffle maker, bagels, fruit, cereals. The dining area was clean, well maintained and central A/C. Also included is a happy hour from 5-7 in the lobby with wine and individually wrapped snacks.
Over all 4 stars, had parking been free and they honored the price we were expecting to pay on arrival, they'd get 5 stars. But hey, it's Key West, they march to a different drum.
JJINGYIThe bathroom is small, the decoration style is simple, a bit old, but the price is outside the hammock and the beach, make up these places, the children like it, I also like to lie on the hammock to listen to the sea breeze. Breakfast is general, fruit and milk are available, ok.
董董The environment is good, the service is warm, the facilities are very good for vacation and leisure. Breakfast is very good and there are more varieties. Although the room is four people, it is not crowded at all, the bath is also very convenient, the hot water is very adequate, in short, the experience is good.
CCHANGGYUBreakfast was okay for a quick meal.
The room was clean and relatively spacious, making it suitable for a family of four.
However, I think the swimming pool needs more cleaning.
GGuest UserNice place. Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Parking is NOT included. I'm a bit annoyed about that because I didn't find anything about that when reserving the room. I even called and left a message on the concierge line asking about parking but never got a callback.
