comfortable with air conditioning and a good bathroom and kitchen and cleaned very well plus very quiet and good showering plus quietness in the hallway good customer service and a lot of peace good people around the building and very clean not a dump like other hotels.

The room was ok and would likely have been much nicer if it was clean and had an update of appliances and equipment. It’s run down and tired. On checking we got door cards and a code in case the cards didn’t work. The cards didn’t work, at all and we couldn’t secure the door from the inside once we were in. The television remote didn’t work and was clearly a different brand to the television. The carpet had stains and there was dust and paint flakes around the edges of the room. Not a great standard.

Close to the tram, clean and compliant hotel! Very pleasant staff! I recommend for a week's stay, there is plenty of equipment in the kitchen

A good set up with parking available, admittedly you pay a fee but an good option. I couldn’t get the TV to work but it was fixed very quickly by friendly staff. No instructions on how to navigate the TV etc…. Would be nice to have a book with info about restaurant etc…close by. There was. Bit of noise both inside and outside the hotel which was disappointing as I went there for peace and quiet. Overall a good experience with room for improvements

The Safari in the City is one of the newest hotels in Kew, having been renovated in 2024.Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 3km from Auburn Station and 24km from Essendon Airport.
