Golden Rose Suit Hotel

We stayed at the Golden Rose hotel for 7 nights and were warmly welcomed by Ferhat and his family. The rooms are lovely, we stayed in room 110 which has a nice rooftop terrace with amazing sea views. We bought bread jam cheese etc from the local shop each morning to have our breakfast al fresco. Mermaid Beach is very nice a walk down the steep hill, you can easily get a taxi back. Ferhat also organised a lovely boat trip to Kekova for us where we walked up to the castle and saw some of the sunken city. We went to some very nice restaurants and also visited Patara Beach which is the longest sandy beach in Turkey, Halk beach and had a few boat trips over to the lovely Nuri’s beach at Limonagzi. If you’re looking for somewhere quieter, a little out of town but with plenty of taxis available, this is the perfect relaxing place for you

Small and cute at first glance. However, a few things accumulated over the two evenings we stayed to give this mediocre review: - Rooms are very very small, they are also quite noisy. You hear other guests, ventilation, elevator, sewage, etc. - They forbid guests to fill up their reusable bottles (0.5 L, not massive just) from a water cooler/filter located in the restaurant area. This is a bit outrageous in a place where tap water is not drinkable, not to mention that it encourages even more use of enviromentally unfriendly plastic bottles (which is already pervasive in the country) - Our shower had black mold, so did another couple's in our group I could go on but definitely some opportunity areas are quite evident.

When they returned to Kash, after a 4-day trip on the shore, they didn't even doubt the hotel choice, wanted to book here. But it was all busy. But one day it was possible to book apartments. Here are very nice hosts. Always on the spot or on the connection, do not need to run and look if you have any questions. The apartments gave us a new, perfectly clean, boiling white bed linen. Very much dishes, there is a dishwasher, it's a big plus for those who cook breakfast themselves. From the balcony you can see mountains and a little sea. Wi fi flys at any time of the day. Hotel on the outskirts of the city, but it is only plus, especially if you are on the car. Parking problems as in the center are not present. There is always a place for the car. Nearby is a good beach on which people walk from the center, from here 6 minutes walk. I definitely recommend this hotel with its beautiful and decent territory

Excellent price/quality ratio. For car travel, the location is excellent - easy to find, there are parking spaces and everything is most interesting in 5 minutes. If you travel without a car - bear in mind the area of mountain and everything is very close, on the picturesque road, but it may be hard to move to the mountain on the heat, and in the neighborhood there is no even supermarket. The apartments are cute, modern, clean, bed comfortable, stress in the shower is beautiful, in the kitchen there is everything you may need, even there is a washing machine. The pleasant staff are a girl who cares about the apartments very polite, tactical, quickly responds to all requests, although it claims that he knows English badly, problems in communication have not occurred at all. The hostess is Russian-speaking. Of the small downsides - in the room on the bottom floor on the street not to sit. Garden furniture looks very old and unclean, plus a crazy number of mosquitoes. The mosquitoes, despite the net, are in large numbers and in the room - it would be great to put in the room a fumigator or somehow to process the territory from insects.

I put 'Pros' first in the title, because they definitely outweighed the 'Cons', and so I'll do the Pros first! PROs * Really superb location, at the end of the town, right on the seafront, with only 8 - 10 min walk into the main harbour / square / shopping and eating area. Very slightly hilly walk, but mainly flat. So easy and straightforward to get anywhere. * There are some parking spots outside, but only about 4 or 5 are reserved for hotel guests. But, even if you have to park further up the road past the hotel, they will re-park your car a bit closer for you later on if you leave the keys with them. Weekend days are really busy for visitors to Kas! * Fabulous views from the restaurant, the bar / pool terrace, from the beach restaurant, and from the 3 beach terraces. * Friendly, cheerful, courteous, helpful staff that make you feel right at home, and are delighted to see you every day. We especially liked the lady who serves breakfast and lunch (Sakina??) and the guy in the bar, (Tasim?) who played all our music requests, and made up a playlist of our favourites! He is so chilled and cheerful all the time. Also, the guys down at the beach who are buzzing around with towels and drinks - nothing is ever too much trouble to ask them! * Really good outdoor areas with plenty of sunbeds. The swimming spot has 2 ladders down into the crystal clear sea - one is longer - and a fresh water shower. All sunbeds have umbrellas or shaded roof. You will still get sun exposure through any of these, so you will still need suncream! * You can get drinks served to your sunbed. Also food, but it's much nicer to go up the steps to the lunch terrace, sit down, have an amazing view, and a table to eat from! We really appreciated that when we didn't finished a bottle of wine, they put our room number on it, put it back in the fridge and kept it till the next time we wanted it. * We had a balcony (maybe all rooms do, I'm not sure) and we liked to sit outside with a drink and watch the sunset. * Excellent air-conditioning in the bedroom, and a small fridge which was actually cold. We bought wine and beer in a supermarket (not cheap!) and asked for wine glasses from the bar. * Lovely snow white fluffy towels every day. * Standard breakfast buffet, with cheeses, yoghurt, olives, salad, fruit salad, watermelon, processed sliced meat (no idea what it was as we never touched it!) and bread that you can toast. No pastries / croissants / little cakes but there is an egg station where they make fresh omelettes to order, and fresh waffles. CONs * There is no lift in the hotel. That was fine for us, as we're fit and didn't mind. But there are 5 flights (about 40 steps or so) of stairs from the street level, where the Reception office is, up to the pool, bar, restaurant area. All bedrooms are up more stairs after this! We were on the 1st level, so only another few steps for us. * The hotel is old, and a bit worn out in places. The room furniture is old, very basic, a b

Booked a hotel room for New Year's Eve. As a result of the unfair service tripcom to its work, the room was different from what was on the photos in this app. It has greatly damaged my holiday and impressions. As for the hotel itself: The location is very convenient, up to the sea of 30 seconds, to the center and the old marina minutes 5 on foot. In the hotel and in the rooms clean and comfortable, nothing is broken, everything is necessary to eat. Breakfast is adequate, not a Swedish table, but it is possible to eat. The hotel has a great terrace with a swimming pool. The sea view is amazing, especially at sunset. The service is adequate, the problem with the number could not be solved, but again the fault was not the hotel. All the other requests and questions were solved quickly. Good people work here. Is a separate thank you to Ibrahim manager for understanding and human attitude. Hotel recommends. But first it is better to clarify the representatives about the matching of the photos of the rooms in the service with reality.
