Not worth the hype. Couple of things one needs to know before booking this place. Firstly, its on steep ingress on top of hill. If you are self driving and not familiar in driving in hills, avoid it. Secondly, there is monkey population around property, avoid booking balcony rooms. If you are paying 20k per night then at least hospitality and food should be good. That’s where it was below average. Dinner buffet was bad. I tried their non veg items, it was dry and tasteless. Nobody cared to ask guest even for serving water and breads. Breakfast was just about right nothing fancy on the menu. Hospitality: Being a Hyatt group member and vivid travel one expects hospitality should be good by the brand. Again scores in negative, something like traditional welcome was profile based. Staff were more focused on selective high profile guest.

The property is built very thoughtfully surrounding the lush green Deodhar. The hotel staff is amicable. Temperature control pool was the highlight. Breaking Buffet spread was palatable and special applaud to stuffed kulchas that chef specially prepared with pindi cholas. High tea menu could have been better. Overall a good experience.

Good things about this hotel: 1. Location is great, good view from the room 2. Restaurant is very good and staff at the restaurant are really good, great hospitality by them Things which could have been better: 1. They don’t have good activities for kids and they don’t have a good game room either 2. Rooms are very small 3. They don’t provide extra bed even after they agree

We booked the hotel breakfast and dinner which was the best choice. The hotel is slightly outside of the main towns which is nice if you looking for some peace and calm. Service of staff is excellent, from reception to waiters (S. Kamur). Clean rooms and bathrooms, excellent facilities like private bookable cinema and spa.

An excellent experience. Great property - with magnificent views of the snow clad peaks. Efficient and friendly staff. The service and food were both great. We loved our 3 night stay at this hotel.
