The hotel has two buildings, A and B, clean rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, hop inn standards, free wifi, parking, coffee available at the press machine in the morning. The walls of the room are quite thin, I can hear the sound from outside. Should avoid staying on the 1st floor. Because there is a loud noise from outside and from the hotel lobby

The check cloth is not clean at all. Making the skin allergic at all 😓😓😓 The mattress, cloth and pillows are not good at all. The neck pain is very tight.

I’m honestly surprised with these reviews. It’s quaint and has some Thai charm but that’s it. Perhaps it’s because it’s so quiet ? I had barely a welcome. I asked about booking a tour or driver and was met with confusion. Annoying because I had messaged them before my arrival about whether to book in advance or with them. I was shown to my room then reception closed up, which was after I realised I had no wifi information. I’m sure I was the only guest and put in the worst room at the back near the toilets, pans & cleaning stuff. It was dark and depressing and full of mosquitoes. It was hot, the fridge & air-con were off. There was no security as the windows didn’t lock but you couldn’t have them open either for light because of the mosquitoes. I persevered for an hour but still no one surfaced to discuss these issues, so I cut my losses and moved on.

The deluxe rooms (4th floor) were worth it, with balcony viewing the river. Large bathrooms with separate shower and WC. Great base for walking around the bridge area and finding restaurants. Good and large beds. Small minus: 2nd afternoon we wanted to make tea with the facilities in the room and bags were finished. Called reception, replied 'sorry we are out of stock'. We replied 'what happened with the HUGE tea bag stock this morning at the breakfast restaurant?' and 5 minutes later they brought more tea bags.

Just an all round nice place to stay. The views were amazing from our balcony and the rooms were on the smaller side but were clean and well air conditioned (needed for the 37°C heat). The pool was really refreshing and the location overlooks the river Kwai, just off a main road full of restaurants and bars which can sometimes be a bit noisy while trying to get asleep but nothing too bad. We also had a few little lizard friends that managed to bunk into our room without paying. None we’re very big but this could be a turn off for some. It was fairly difficult to find people who actually worked there, both when checking in and out, but we enjoyed the place and would gladly stay again.

The hotel is super clean and the rooms even smell good. You get a satellite TV which proved important during the raining season. They are coffee facilities downstairs and breakfast is available across the road. Good size room and quiet at the back. The coffee downstairs is just brewed coffee. More concerning there is no in room safe and the extraction fan is very noisy. The hotel is located middle of in between…but still within walking distance from the bars.

Royal Nine was a great place to stay in Kanchanburi, the room was very spacious with a nice sized bathroom. The bed wasn't the the best but probably not the worst I'll have. Just the springs had gone. The air con worked whilst out of the room so you could get the room nice and cool and the wifi was great. Free water and coffee everyday and a little pool to have a dip in at the end of a long warm day! It was in a great location! Right amongst bars but far enough to not hear the music, 7-11 was close, we actually walked to the bridge over the river kwae and got a scooter side cart to the Jeath museum.

Comfortable fan room, convenient travel, easy to find, near the main road. Looking for a place to eat near Sơn Next to the shop Convenient transportation, overall good, cheap price 😆😆😆

The location is right on the water which was great! The room is a decent size and has a closet with a safe, and a desk to my some stuff on. Didn't try the TV but there was one in the room. The toilet leaked all over the floor randomly when flushed, and the girlfriend found some hair on top of the blankets when we arrived. Those are the only negatives really. Check-in was fast. Just fill in some information on a paper - no deposit needed, not even your passport. Check out counter didn't have anybody there at 7:30, so we just left the key behind the counter. For the price, I would definitely recommend this room. There was this nice monitor lizard on the porch when I opened the patio doors, but it was harmless. The other picture is the view. There was also a bit of loud music from the back of the hotel, which also has great outdoor seating, but it didn't last long.
