Great little budget hotel next to railway & Bridge over the river Kwai with spacious rooms. Great location to catch the train (we went on Sunday to Erawan waterfall by chance at 10am) The journey was fantastic over death railway, well worth the trip just for that as the upper tiers of the waterfall were closed due to covid one of the national park workers told us. The hotel was a bit dated but spotlessly clean everywhere, warm water and good shower & pressure. Clean towels everyday & bed linen changed after 2 nights! The bed & pillows were really comfortable too. Waters & Herbal tea & coffee provided every day but would have been nice to have black teabag in room. Wi-Fi a bit slow but we knew that before we came however we weren’t here to sit on the iPhone all day😁 Breakfast was nice & hot and you could choose more than 1 menu for each person. Nice short stay in good location and I would recommend. Plenty of bars/restaurants at other end of the road with cheap taxi fare (under 100THB for a grab taxi) Nice floating restaurant on the river less than 2 mins walk right by the bridge. Couldn’t take pic of the large bed as I have disturbed it.

Comfortable and well-serviced lodgings, friendly & helpful staff with adequate level of English, excellent buffet breakfast - great selection - with choice of indoor / outdoor dining. There's a café out front which is a great spot for leisurely people-watching, and becomes a bar in the evening. Cleanest public bathroom in all of Thailand in café area! Swimming pool was clean and partly shaded when I used it. Fitness room was basic. Numerous eateries and bars in the area, although it's at the quieter end of the street. 7-11 very close-by. Walking distance to night market and other attractions. Excellent and cheap laundry service nearby (30 baht per kg!). I'll stay here again.

We had a lovely time at Campster and stayed one night in the camper van. We arrived around 1 pm and got our room at 2 pm (we hadn't notified of our early arrival). We were served welcome drink (refreshing) while we waited by the pool for the room to get ready. The camper van was nice and compact with all basic facilities. The bunk beds can fit kids only. The location is out of the town but it was easy for find a grab. We paid around THB 200 from Death Bridge Railway station for a SUV which is reasonable. The driver offered us his services in case we needed to go around town or back to Bangkok but we had already booked a car for the next day to take us to Erawan in the morning and then to Bangkok in the evening (paid THB 2800 for SUV) whereas he had offered THB 3000. There are limited options for food (especially since we eat halal only). We ordered veg pizza's which were not bad. They also have the ready to make noodles and food price is reasonable. There is unlimited supply of water free of cost. Coffee is not great. You get a drink eggs and toasts for breakfast that can be served in the restaurant or to your room. The area is tidy and they have some activities like campfire (free marshmallows and yakult), swimming pool, playground/ garden, swings, bicycles and kayaks. For an additional cost they also arrange jet ski, standing board, water bike and wet raft. The staff are friendly and helpful but many of them don't speak English. The supervisor is a nice lady and speaks fluent english. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and i would prefer it any day over staying in a regular hotel.

The breakfast is exquisite and delicious, the log feels good in the room, the green environment is good, the riverside restaurant has a good view, the green trees become cute, the scenery is good, the blue sky, green water and the air are good, the service is good, the hotel location is good, not many tourists are quiet and good , The elderly and children say yes.

Great for a night right on the river. Rooms was basic, mattress on the floor, side table & a fan. Internet was fast and service was very frindly. A great place to unwind, and within walking distance to the New Bridge over the river Kwai and resturants. Heavy rain caused the river to rise (was the end of the monsoon season), so the walkway to the hut was a little flooded in the morning, but this just added to the charm. For a inexpensive night on the river, I can highly recommend Bamboo House.

There are many old spots. But in the overall room still looks good. Just the bathroom has a very strong pipe smell. And there is only one room Which stinks outside, so hurry to fix it. Other than that, very good, clean, good bed, welcome fruit as well. The younger sister who is the reception The service speaks very well. There is a service room until 8pm, the taste is available, the price starts at a hundred baht. Food is served from six to ten in the morning. The room is spacious, but not much. It is convenient for people with cars and do not have to worry about parking. This is a hotel that requires self-service about luggage, so I recommend that you don't have to carry a lot. Pick up only what you need, it would be more comfortable when returning. Suggest that the balcony of the suite room outside should have a chair to sit in the wind and see the city view.
