Grand Mercure Chengdu East

An absolutely fantastic hotel, as convenient as being at home! The room came equipped with a fridge, washing machine, induction cooktop, and microwave, perfect for making simple meals. I was most surprised to find a steamer and a wok too!

The front desk service was excellent; they proactively upgraded our room. We booked a room without breakfast, and when we asked about nearby breakfast spots, the front desk even gave us two complimentary breakfast vouchers. The room facilities were also very new. Overall, we were very satisfied.

They upgraded us to a suite directly since we were traveling with two kids, which was absolutely delightful. The hotel is very new, and the room was clean and tidy; my daughter even said the bathtub was sparkling. We ordered takeout twice, and a robot delivered it to our room each time. We were all so comfortable watching TV on the sofa that none of us wanted to sleep! But we had to catch a flight the next day, so we enjoyed a nice bath and got some good sleep. Perhaps because the location is a bit further out, the price was also very reasonable, even during the May Day holiday peak. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we're in Chengdu. And please, upgrade us to a suite again next time too!

The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but the service makes up for it. The doorman helped with our luggage, and the front desk service was excellent, especially Xiao Fan. She even recommended local boat tours and Chaluokou hotpot when we asked for suggestions.

Location: A quick 10-minute ride from the airport, and with the Line 19/18 subway station conveniently nearby, it offers incredibly easy and fast access to transport. I was incredibly satisfied. I called ahead and they even arranged a birthday setup, which was super thoughtful and much appreciated. A huge thanks to the two service managers at the front desk on February 20th who also gifted us breakfast. I've forgotten their names, but one was a gentleman and the other a lady. They brought so much warmth to our Chinese New Year trip. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was heartwarming. This is definitely a hotel I'd choose again. We booked two rooms to see the New Year Lantern Festival at the Expo Park. The rooms were very spacious, and the toiletries were high-quality, with wooden combs and toothbrushes. We received complimentary welcome fruit, and parking was convenient. The breakfast was quite rich, and the 'feichang fen' (spicy pork intestine noodles) was delicious.
