This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! The rooms are spacious, beautiful and clean, with good sized bathrooms. The courtyard is a peaceful and relaxing place. The breakfast is also filling and well prepared. The boss was the most helpful and accommodating host and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and to arrange transport for our sight seeing and onward journey. We even shared some tea in the evening, getting to know each other better. The location is also perfect, close to the centre of the magical ancient town. Myself and my partner cannot recommend this guesthouse enough! If you no visit Shaxi, you must stay here!

The inn is clean and tidy, the landlord is warm and thoughtful, the location is very good, parking is convenient, and it takes only 6 or 7 minutes to walk to the core block of Shaxi Ancient Town and the ancient theater. The large yard is first-class for sunbathing and drinking tea. There is a large sun shed and 2 washing machines on the rooftop for washing and drying clothes. It is very convenient; the landlord is a local and took the initiative to introduce the history of Shaxi and the places to play. He provided a kitchen for us to make sweet tea, and boiled hot water in the morning to help us pour the car window glass to defrost... In short, this trip to Shaxi was very happy and smooth, half of which was because I stayed in the right place. I must give Xiangning Bohai Courtyard 100 points.

Shaxi old town itself is a true gem on its own, and this place is a gem in a gem. Hidden just outside of the Shaxi old town, it's proximity to the town square （寺登街）is a big plus. The landscape is super cozy, highly suitable for those who want to really have a good break from the hustle and bustle of city life, resting ones mind in an uninterrupted environment. Let's not forget the lady owner taking care of the place, who is so accommodating and helpful. And let's not forget the hot fresh milk provided every evening, which gives another level of warmness to the stay. Notes: if you are here on a Friday, you are of luck. The farmers market held weekly on Friday is just a few minutes walk away from this guesthouse too!

The courtyard is quiet and elegant, you can sit in front of the house on the first floor to drink tea and chat. The second floor has a good view. The room I stayed in is very large, with dry and wet separation, and toiletries are available. The most interesting thing is the intelligent management. You can control the lights and play music by voice. In short, it is a place to add a good mood to the trip.

The courtyard, with its fishpond, blew our mind soon as we stepped in. It's a green paradise. There is also a observation deck where you could see the countryside for miles. The rooftop has a laundry machine and clotheslines. A welcome to long travellers. During our stay I got sick and the owner called a tricycle to take me to the health clinic. He paid for the ride would not allow me to reimburse him. When we left, he helped arrange a taxi to take us to the next town.We enjoyed Shaxi and the stay at this inn.

I had a fantastic stay at Yingju Inn. The hotel is located in the most central place of Shaxi village. But more importantly, the manager was very helpful and professional. She speaks perfectly English and was able to help me for many things. She indicated me all the sights to visit in the area, and she booked my bus for me. It worth to be noticed, because after almost one month in China, it was the first time that I had a hotel with an English-speaking staff.
